Hotel La Jolla, Curio Collection by Hilton

"The room is big with a nice bed, desk, big TV, mini-fridge, and nice bathroom. However, a co-worker and myself found hair in our showers and bathrooms when we checked into our rooms. There's also no microwave in the room so I'm not sure how we'd heat up leftovers. All the staff have been great! Above and beyond and very friendly. There are some cute restaurants and stuff within walking distance. We walked to dinner down the street and saw a beautiful sunset. A couple of co-workers rented the bikes by the lobby to get some coffee. Another two walked to and on the beach yesterday morning."

"The hotel should work with Google to have the directions corrected. Currently Google maps is directing cars to a back entrance and there is also an alley right next to the gated and accessible entrance that is very narrow and hard to turn around in. Looks like other cars have scraped against the wall. Also when I did find the front entrance, while leaving, the driveway is very steep and I bottomed out even though I have a normal sedan that is not lowered or anything and I was driving slowly. I can only imagine the potential damage that could happen to some of the more exotic cars that might frequent this hotel."

"Great location with very cute patio and pool deck with great views of the ocean and green space from our higher floor room. Nicely decorated common areas and friendly front desk and breakfast staff. Breakfast was very nice too. La Jolla cove was few mins driving and within walking distance was some pretty nice area with restaurants, shops and bars."

"Walked back and forth to the beach and to dinner over our stay over the weekend. Unbeatable walkability for a hotel here. Rooms were fantastic with the renovations. Water in a jug at the entrance is a welcome amenity after a walk. Heated outdoor pool? Wow. The outdoor restaurant and the fireplace was lovely for breakfast. The bikes with a 2 hour free rental and $5 an hour after, straight from the hotel without needing to hassle with a shop in town? Lovely! We made good use of that going to La Jolla Cove and onward. But most of all, it was the service of the staff. There are some gems working here, hold onto them! Give Eddie a raise, that guys awesome."

"We stayed a night at this hotel and had a fine experience. The view is really nice and it has an easy walk to some really nice spots in La Jolla. It's a little on the pricey side, but it does look like they are making some nice updates to the property. The bar has some decent drink selections and a nice out-door fire-place for when its a little chilly."
