"We stayed for three nights for our Anniversary. The location is perfect you would think that you are in the South of France. In the mornings you are awakened with the sounds of the hot air balloons. An amazing breakfast is prepared and delivered to your room every morning. A totally unique and amazing experience so close to Los Angeles and San Diego in Southern California. If you want something special this should not be missed."

"A beautiful, high end property with wonderful food and service! Liked · The location was super close to wine country and most everything that we did. The property is gorgeous! The owner greeted us, and was so kind and welcoming. The staff member that brought breakfast was so kind as well. The room was beautiful, and immaculately clean. The breakfast was phenomenal! Gourmet and so delicious! Also the finishes are so beautiful…it’s obvious that they put a lot of time and money into every detail of the rooms. High end and gorgeous for sure!! We really have hardly any complaints. The guests next to us were loud every night, which was our biggest complaint. Thankfully we brought a sound machine and we just turned it up to help drown out their noise. The only other thing that wasn’t our personal favorite was how bright the room is as soon as the sun comes up. There are little windows above the door that do not have any shade. And there is a door in a closet and a window by it, that are not see through, so privacy is good. But we personally wanted to sleep in a little more, which for us wasn’t possible with the amount of sunlight allowed in the room. Again, this is more of a personal thing. So maybe other people would love this. Truly 5/5, obsessed with this place! Can’t emphasize how amazing it is!!"

"Like everyone, life was really busy this year and taking just a few extra days off wasn't possible. We decided it was the right time and chose this very special place to unwind and relax. Now that we have stayed, I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Starting with the gated entrance, Ashley was there to greet us with a smile. She asked a few quick questions in order to personalize our stay. Everything in the Chapel Suite, is thoughtful, spotless, and the furniture is very comfortable and perfectly placed. The private patio outside is more than peaceful as you can't hear anything but raw nature. Watching the hot air balloons take off each morning was also a treat - five the first day and three the next. The Continental breakfast isn't a basket of pastries, it was hot, delicious and delivered in a charming tray with fresh flowers. The 12pm check-out is a nice touch too as you will want to stay up until the last minute and we did. Laura and Mike are very friendly and we enjoyed chatting with Laura as we checked out. Domaine Chardonnay is the perfect place for a getaway and we look forward to staying again sooner than later. Cheers!"

"My wife and I stayed in the Vineyard Suite for a two nights stay celebrating our anniversary. Upon our arrival, our host gave us warm greeting. The room was well appointed and beautifully decorated and in immaculate condition. The daily breakfast was outstanding and the view on the back patio of the balloons rising in the morning was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and look forward to coming back in the future."
