"Very nice inn within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf. Bed was comfortable. Everything was clean and the location was quiet."
"Spent the night here while visiting family. Nice little Inn. They offer a continental breakfast in the morning, mostly just bagels and yogurt type thing. We got to our room fairly late around 8pm. A young girl helped check us in and was super welcoming. She explained a lot about directions to our room, contacting someone if needed, and what the inn offered. The room we stayed in was a king-bed room. The room seemed clean and well maintained. The room amenities included a fridge, tv, microwave, and coffee maker, as well as some hygiene products. We did not use any of the room amenities due to our short stay. The only downsides we felt were the aging of the inn and the lack of breakfast options. We overall had a very good experience at the Colton Inn and would come back. For local review or travel content you can find us on most socials @sunsetourist"
"My wife and I stayed at Colton Inn for 4 nights last week. We were in town for a work convention and wanted to be close to the convention center without paying $250+ a night. When we travel we are almost never in our room anyway. Colton Inn was perfect for us. The front desk staff was amazing. Karisma checked us in and gave us great recommendations on where to eat in town. Kristina was very helpful each morning. The room was clean and comfortable. If we end up back in Monterey we will definitely stay there again."
"They do go through extra mile to charge us more. I was ~15 minutes late for checkout and was charged extra 30$. I had discussed about late checkout prior day and the lady never mentioned that there would be an extra charge and claimed that she has right to decline to inform about the late charge. If you guys are so stringent on making the room available, why not first concentrate on breakfast and broken appliances. Breakfast was absolute joke and the refrigerator never worked. I'm still not sure why the fan was in the corner? On a hot day it would be terrible to stay."
"Lots of reviews mention the myriad of "rules" which we were fine with. The inn is quiet and is in walking distance to the waterfront; a little far to the aquarium but doable if you want to save the 20 bucks parking fee. Breakfast was a bit sparser than we were used to at larger hotels, but is not bad and we carbed up for our day (no breakfast meats)."
