"Very disappointed with this hotel given that I exclusively stay at Marriott properties and have come to expect a minimum amount of service and cleanliness. I arrived at midnight to check into an upgraded room that was a blast from 80s past. It had shag carpeting, a full open kitchen and an additional second floor loft with bathroom. Sounds great right? Except that everything was old, dirty, and falling apart. The towels were various shades of off-white and smelled. The closet doors were off their hinges. The tub had mildew, shower curtains had insect blood stains on them. The only toiletries provided was a paper thin wafer of soap. Despite telling the counter dude that I wanted my room cleaned daily during check in, for the next three days I didn't get any housekeeping. I was even lectured on how I needed to tell them when I wanted my room cleaned. I explicitly did this because I already learned from my neighboring Courtyard experience a few weeks before. I only chose this over the Courtyard this time because of the promised free breakfast which turned out to be stale bagels, overcooked scrambled eggs and sausage patties that looked like mashed cardboard. Apart from that, there was instant cereal and oatmeal and a pancake machine. The coffee and water were lukewarm too. Parking cost an additional $14/night (why? I mean I get that Courtyard leased space from the garage next door, but the Residence Inn is a motel on their own property.) Would I ever stay here again. F no. Should you? Probably not."

"This is easily the worst Marriott I've stayed at. ( lifetime platinum ) Everything about this hotel is terrible : 1. Rude staff 2. Bad breakfast. The worst. They have 3 dishes 3. Old and unclean rooms. Bathroom had stains 4. Broken doors 5. No supplies in the kitchen ( as advertised) Avoid at all costs."

"Fafy at the kitchen fed our crew of 12 adults, and not once complained. Marcella at the front desk was extremely helpful and super hospitable. Although, this is an older building and rooms style hotel, the staff here and their amazing service makes up for it. The landscaping is magical as well!"

"Stayed here for a week. The first room they tried to give us wasn’t the cleanest and had an entire cabinet door missing. The second room we tried was much better. These are really like little condos or apartments as everyone has their own outside entrance. Landscaping is nice and makes the walk to the lobby very enjoyable. Coffee hot and ready all the time and breakfast has good options. They had chimichangas multiple times while we were there. The grill area is very nice. We used it a few nights and the front desk supplied you with all of the grilling tools you need. The location can’t be beat, so close to downtown Campbell. And highly recommend Stevie’s bar right down the road within walking distance. All in all, would stay again!"
