"AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! DO NOT STAY HERE!!! If I could give 0 stars I would!!! This place is old and outdated and they overcharged the hell out of my company. We were corporate clients for almost 4 years. Never again! The rooms smell, the owner is an arrogant jerk who gets defensive when you address your concerns with him. They complain about not having enough cleaners (not our problem) and would forget to clean rooms all week long. The owner tanked his best clients with his attitude, always complaining about something (but could never tolerate it the other way around). Nobody at my company wanted to talk to him because he was so condescending! Do yourself a favor and find a different hotel.... hopefully the owner and some staff fix that gnarly TUDE before they completely go under..."

"Our first room was carpeted with a mildewy smell and blood on the sheets. We went to the front desk and then he upgraded us to a room with vinyl floors and a bigger bed with unstained sheets. Two conditioners and no shampoo, but we were too tired to ask for any at that point. The owner was incredibly sweet and accommodating. For the price, it’s a good place to spend the night."

"Yes, it’s a bit dated, and pet friendly so you will encounter the occasional dog hair or two…aside from that, this place is AMAZING. Clean, great free breakfast (waffles, eggs, sausages, cereal, toast, potatoes, fruit), great location, and the indoor pool was our kid’s favorite!! The staff is super friendly and helpful! We really enjoyed our stay!! Thank you!!"

"Step back in time at the seabird lodge. I felt like I was walking into my great grandmas bedroom. While Cozy and mostly clean the carpet is probably from the 70s stained and smelt wet. Needs upgrading desperately. Walls were painted pink over the old wallpaper. Pros: clean. I didn’t get any bug bites. Bed was clean. Price was ok. Front office staff were super friendly and prompt. The pool and hot tub looked nice. Cons: smelt mildewy, carpet had stains and was gross. Walls are paper thin heard my neighbors going to pound town all night long. Every time someone flushes their toilet I heard it. Bring your own pillows these are thin and hard. Tossed and turned all night. The coffee machine has tea but the machine doesn’t brew just water you have to have a coffee pod to make it turn on. So the tea can’t be used, if that matters to you. Rooms advertised online were not what I saw on this stay. There was no ocean view so I’m not sure where people are staying to see that."

"The best hotel in Fort Bragg! No one can beat this place with the most amazing breakfast, enjoyable indoor pool and hot tub, extremely cozy room with ocean views, and the friendliest staff. I stay here all the time and would never stay anywhere else when I come to town. All the front desk (Neil, Dylan & Laura) always take care of me when I stay. Everything is always so clean and my room smells like clean laundry every time."
