Motel 6 Fort Bragg, CA

"This place is terrible. 1. We were put into a room with broken tile in the shower. Moved to a second room that had a completely broken bed. Then had to be moved to a third room. 2. All 3 rooms were dirty, dingy and had ants in them. Definitely not renovated like the pictures posted on their advertisements or on their website. 3. At 8PM after being in our 3rd room and attempting to wind down the front office gave away our room to other guests and we were greeted by strangers walking into our room. That was fun. 4. Apparently they rent this place out for events and had a very loud obnoxious party going on the second night of our stay which went until about 130AM. 5. I don't know if it is normal but there were a lot of people in the parking lot drinking, openly doing drugs and I even was followed to my room (mind you I am clearly pregnant) I brought my concerns to the hotel staff who stated they would call the police on an individual. The next morning the same individual followed myself and my 5 year old to my car. 6. The rooms do not have blow dryers, coffee makers or fridges as advertised so do not trust what they say will be in your room. Also, the pool is closed. The whole place is falling apart with stairs even blocked off because they have broken. Overall, if you like to be in an unsafe, dirty environment this place is for you. Other than that I would not ever recommend it. Pay the extra money and stay elsewhere."

"Shane was super helpful during my stay and made the process of adding an additional night to my stay super easy. There was also another guy working (cannot remember his name) who was super understanding and helpful during my check in after discovering my credit card was stolen. These two were the friendliest front desk staff I’ve ever met, great customer service!! :)"

"The front desk clerk when we checked in - Shane was really great at welcoming us and making sure that we were comfortable! Clean rooms and the heaters are awesome. Room heats up in only a few minutes. Definitely will be back. Thanks for the nice stay! Updated 2/13/24 - Another smooth stay at Motel 6 in Fort Bragg. We were checked in by Francisco, he was a very kind and diligent young man. Our stay was nice and quiet with a very warm room thanks to the heaters that work great! We checked out with a woman by the name of Tonya, who was very kind and made sure I got my receipt! Thanks for another great stay Motel 6 Team, you rock!"

"Visited here for 2 nights. The two at the front desk Shane and Tanya were very nice and accommodating. The room was clean, clean sheets and nice clean towels. The bed was very big and comfortable. The TV had options for Netflix on it which was great. Also had a microwave and mini fridge as well. For a room right across the street from the beach, $60 a night-- couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you for giving us a comfortable place to stay!"

"The staff were so friendly. Tanya was very helpful to my elderly parents. They were having trouble with their GPS and she took the time to explain and help them navigate their way back home. Lovely stay very accommodating to the street level instead of them walking up to the 2nd floor. The rooms were cozy, simple and perfect what we needed a place to wash up and sleep. We appreciate that it is also pet friendly. Free coffee in the the morning was nice to have."
