"Our experience at North Cliff Hotel was nothing short of enchanting. Nestled just a 5-minute walk from the picturesque Noyo Bay, this elevator-free gem offers a refined ambiance that seamlessly blends with its coastal surroundings. The romantic suites, adorned with gas fireplaces, sturdy wood furnishings, and private balconies overlooking the ocean, provided a serene retreat. The attention to detail, from the whirlpool tubs to the vaulted ceilings, enhanced the overall charm of our stay. The staff's warmth and hospitality were truly exceptional, especially during our anniversary celebration. They went above and beyond, decorating our room and surprising us with complimentary wine—a thoughtful gesture that added a touch of magic to our special occasion. The convenient location, just 1.4 miles from the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens and 2 miles from Glass Beach, coupled with complimentary perks like on-site parking and a delightful continental breakfast, made our stay memorable. North Cliff Hotel is a haven for those seeking a romantic getaway with a perfect blend of coastal allure and attentive service."

"We really do love the superior suite room. The layout is wonderful, the tub and fireplace are amazing and falling asleep to the sounds of the ocean was incredible. However, between our neighbors smoking pot all night and coughing on their balcony and the guests walking up and down the stairs and hallway literally shaking our bed all night, a good nights rest was impossible. I realize the hotel may not be able to control how the movement outside and vibrations move through the building or guests smoking on their balcony but we won’t be able to stay here again. If you’re not a light sleeper and would leave your patio door closed then this hotel is absolutely amazing!"

"The hotel is aptly named, perched on a cliff overlooking the harbor. The rooms are large and the view is pretty epic, even in rainy weather. The bed was nice, though a bit rough on our backs (which might be a matter of personal preference). One thing to note is that the rooms have built-in heating via heated floors, which is pretty cool (actually, pretty warm, lol). If you need to cool off, just open the patio door, as it can get quite warm. The breakfast is good; I particularly loved the smoked Gouda cheese grab-and-go sandwiches. All the staff were super friendly and helpful."

"This hotel is in the best location for miles. You have a little bit of a walk from your room to the lobby to get your breakfast. They ask you to take your breakfast back to your room where your microwave is as they don't have a microwave in the lobby. And that was perfectly fine with us. Really enjoyed our stay there. Look forward to going back again."

"I cant say enough good things about this hotel. Read the reviews prior to booking and some scared me thinking it was going be awful. But let me tell you fantastic staff everyone was beyond nice gifted us wine upon arrival and the next afternoon as well . Views are probably the best in town of all hotels you have a balcony to watch sunset. Rooms were spacious and lovely with many extras like a large refrigerator and microwave.fireplace in every room . We will definitely be back had the best time here . Appreciate the staff making our stay so comfortable."
