Sunny Pho

"My favorite place to get authentic Vietnamese pho! Over & over again. The broth is very tasty, filled with ample noodles, green onion, a bit of red onion, cilantro, and the various meats & tender tendons are sufficient quantity in the regular size bowl (item B1 Sunny Pho Special). The sides of bean sprouts, jalapeños, & mint are always fresh & crunchy. You're given chop sticks, a fork, and an Asian-style spoon to use. The needed condiments are already on the table for you, like hot chili oil (yum), Sriracha, hoisin sauce, Maggi, etc. Did I say how much I love this place? I really love this place. Dining in is very nice with fast & friendly service. I've also had to-go orders of pho via Door Dash to the hospital, too! Even the to-go version of their pho is very well presented and always very fresh, too. Everything comes separately, so you can put it all together yourself when it arrives, still hot. Really nice. Don't ever change a thing Sunny Pho because you're one of the best AUTHENTIC PHO restaurants I've been to in Madison. I feel like I've eaten homemade pho in your home whenever I visit your restaurant. Thank you very much for that."

"I got a regular vegetarian pho and the broth was very flavorful! You can easily make it spicy by adding sriracha and chili crisp provided on the table. The regular size had a good portion and should be enough for most people. They have plenty of other dishes if you are not in a mood for pho, including boba teas. The restaurant had a cozy feel to it and the staff was very nice. They only have street parking, which we were easily able to find since it was a weeknight."

"The food is ok there. The broth for the pho could be more flavorful. The meat wasn't all that great. I also ordered the iced coffee. Don't get the ice coffee....I could not even finish it. Tasted like really badly filtered grounds, and had barely any taste."

"Amazing customer service by everyone. Super nice environment with Vietnamese music. We love the pho and the bahn mi, but everything else there is amazing. I recommend it."

"Well, this is tough to say…$16.95 for a large bowl of pho, definitely wasn’t the best I have had, nor ever pay paid this much. As U can see, it can’t be too bad if I ate it all. Just wasn’t a WOW bowl of pho for the price. Maybe it was the high expectations after seen how much it cost? I would like to try again, but for the cost and location, I’m not sure if I would do it anytime soon. There’s at least two in the Madison area pho places that I would rather go to. Also have to admit with the inflation rate, if either of these places I like better raised their price this high. One more things, the restaurant it self wasn’t busy. Maybe 3 tables, but definitely just as much call to go order. So maybe I was the unlucky one. If other places I like is charging the same…maybe I’ll make one more stop back to see if I’m wrong.
