Ross Dress for Less

"For any higher up managements can see this post. I am a regular shopper at Ross who enjoys spending my time and money there. However lately anytime I come into the store I’ve notice a particular employee who doesn’t seem to be pulling her weight. She’s normally cashiering anytime I come in, is on the heavier side and has distinctly red hair. A few things I’ve noticed that she does to up set not only customers but also her staffing are things like, constantly on her phone at the register, not being productive in helping out when needed or when someone appoints her to do a task, slow at checking customers out and holds up very long lines, constantly getting off the register to run to the bathroom when the store is busy, in addition when she’s off the register she doesn’t corporate and do any tasks that need to be done, instead she walks around the store and shops while clocked in. This person in particular also likes to slack off and put the work on her other employees. She finds ways to manipulate people into doing her own duties while she goofs around on her phone watching YouTube videos. Although I really like shopping at Ross, Sometimes it just takes one person to completely change the environment of the store. Now anytime I come in and she’s working, I’m not looking forward to having her check me out. Not only is she rude to me and makes smart remarks, she also doesn’t give any sense and lacks people customer service. I’m surprised Ross has continued on with her for this long now, I believe in order to make the Store feel more welcoming, they need to let go of the toxic that’s poisoning the store."

"Ross is usually my go-to store for deals on deeply discounted clothes, sheets, and housewares, but this Ross was deeply depressing. Nothing I saw struck my fancy. All the end of season jackets were black (who wants a black jacket?) There were hardly any womens shoes, all the socks were sports socks - no trouser socks & the purse selection was skimpy, at best. The lighting was dimmer than other Ross stores & I was generally disheartened. I left withput making a purchase & I really wanted to find a cute top. :("

"This place is just nasty. No customer service whatsoever. The young girl checking us out was on her personal phone video chatting the entire time we waited in the long line and as we were up there being rang up talking to whomever was on the phone... The only thing she spoke to anyone was the total of the purchase and yelling for the next customer. This place has gone down hill for quite sometime now."

"Is it just me or has this store really gone down hill. First the shelves were very bare. No purses to speak of. Hardly any shoes. The plus size clothing was very very minimal. The staff seemed overworked and not many working at a time. Had to stand in line of 10 people while 1 cashier and no other workers. Do they not have workers or what? Hopefully they get more plus size clothing options and more options for size 10 shoes and up."

"Restroom was closed for " cleaning" and then Closed due to being "short staffed" lies. Two short Asian girls standing behind counter doing nothing with their lives. could not be bothered to open restroom for me. Zero line. First time here won't be back"
