"Took my buddy to find a dress for a wedding and the ladies in there made us feel like we were about to steal something . Like bro I don't even wear these kind of cloths . Not everyone of color steals"
"Great store...love the no interest policy...makes it enjoyable to shop and still be able to make payments. Love their clothes!!! I have always had excellent service each time I've shopped there. The young Ladies were very engaging and helpful! ❤❤❤"
"Was in the store on 1/31/2019 and witnessed a sales associate kick out a mother with a child in a shopping cart. It was obvious to anyone with any intelligence that the child was suffering from cancer. After talking to the mom outside the store she said that her child was in the shopping cart because she was too weak from all of her treatments to walk that far. The 6 year old had just finished up 28 days of radiation with chemo on top of that and they were shopping to buy each other gifts for surviving 6 weeks away from home and finishing this chapter in their journey. When I spoke with the district manager this morning she said it was Dry Goods at West Town Malls policy to not allow shopping carts in their store. They've had others in their with shopping carts before and their intentions for being in there with carts were questionable. Needless to say the store seems to only allow those in their that pass their stereotyping."
"I usually love this store, and their clothes. However, I came in with my husband yesterday and decided to try on a few things. My husband wasnt even in the actual dressing room with me, he was on the outside in the little sitting area. After 2 other girls came in, one of the girls working there said to my husband that he needed to leave the dressing room since there was more than 1 person in there now. I dont understand why he wasnt allowed back there and truthfully it made me very mad, I almost called the girl out on it, but didnt. We have never had this issue at any other dry goods, and I might end up calling the store. Edit: I just called the store, and they clarified that some women come out half dressed, and that it can cause some conflict, so if theres more than 1 woman back there, then they are asked to step out. That does make sense."
"My wife asked me to go into the dressing room to critique her clothes. As we where discussing her wardrobe after being in there for about 5 mins someone bangs on the door not a knock but banging. And asked "how many people are in there?" my wife says two. She said "only one person allowed." My wife opens the door and I step out and she said "men are not allowed back here you have to wait here" she directed me to the entrance to the dressing. I had to stand there and wait, not even a bench for me to sit on. I felt humiliated becuase there where no signs that said that; and I told her this and she said "it's a Jr. Store so men are not allowed back there." It did not say it was a Jr. Store as if I'm suppose to know what that means, and it did not say men are not allowed beyond are certain point. If you look like a male don't even bother your not treated equal there. I asked my wife to review this review and she agrees with what I have to say. Atleast my wife can sympathise with how that employee made me feel which is why Dry Goods gets one star."
