"Crescent bend appears to be closed. Their phone number, which is on their website and on the 'Past Port', has been disconnected according to the phone company when I called the number. I showed up without calling first and was surprised to find no one there. That's a shame because the gardens are beautiful."

"I was a guest at a wedding at Crescent Bend House and Garden. The view and setting are fabulous. Grounds are nice, just need a little TLC. Food was good. However, the in-house wedding coordinator left for most of the reception causing chaos and confusion. The assistant was no where to be found. No one prompted the toasts so the family just winged it. The microphone was not working for the toasts and no one was there to help.The tables were never called to go eat, so the food was cold by the time we got to the buffet. The DJ did not have the play list so dancing never took off. The whole flow was awkward. Most guests left early (four hours early). No one there to prompt the bride and groom to do the cake so the bridal party tried. No one knew how to do the cake cutting, leaving the bride in tears because it was awkward. The whole evening then ended abruptly about when the coordinator showed up. It was terrible. This must have been sad for the family with all the money they spent. This should never happen to any bride on her wedding day."

They do a phenomenal job with this event every year from coordinating with the RiverBoat Queen to having show Horses, to authentic food to enjoy, it truly is an all day event worth attending every year."
