Reviews of Love's Creek Playground
"This is a lovely little park. I have enjoyed running the 1/4 mile loop and walking the wooded trail with my dogs. The playground seems well maintained and there is a good clean pavilion area with picnic tables. There is also a large grassy area with plenty of space to run around as well as benches along the walkway. There are also several access points for the creek to enjoy the water. The downsides are that there aren't any pet waste stations, only garbage cans. Some people have stuffed poop bags in various areas around the park, but there is nothing official that it maintained by park services. Also, as far as bathrooms go, there is a port-a-potty, but no more permanent structures. Finally, the paved path could use some maintenance where tree roots have grown and began cracking the path, making it a tripping hazzard and dangerous for anyone roller blading/skateboard/etc. Their only solution seems to be some very faded spray paint to highlight those areas and a sign warning that the walkway is uneven."
"Nice park but definitely a few shady looking characters."
"My kids are grown however the playground looks update and normally has kids playing and having a great time. I go for the walking track that the park has as well. The park also has a walking trail that goes into the woods. They also have free spring water that's ran for a long time which is also tested for safety."
"We always love playing here. It's one of our favorite parks!! Just wish there were more picnic and grill spots closer to the play ground. Umbrella or shade places near the park would be nice as well. But in general we love this park!!"
"Great park usually not too crowded if you go early in the morning or right before dark. Only a port-o-toilet available though."
