Reviews
"Beautiful park, very clean. Nice and spacious to take a walk around. The only disadvantage about it is no restroom."
"Great park for kids, dogs & adults. Plenty of things to do & open space to run around. Has a playground, half court, tennis court, baseball field & open space for kicking around a soccer ball."
"It's a great park, emphasis on the park because the playground is sort of small. But, if you have small kids and/or dogs, it's perfect. There are also tennis courts, basketball ball hoops, and a baseball field. There is an area for soccer but the nets are in bad shape or are missing. I'd give it 5 stars if it were better maintained, the trash was emptied regularly (it's not) and the grass wasn't so muddy. There are a lot of mature trees that brings a ton of shade but, as a result, there is poor drainage and is typically muddy."
"Great park. Half court hoop, two tennis courts, playground, pleanty of space to play on grass, walking path in and around park, plenty of shade. No indoor bathroom but a porta potty (parks dept didnt budget it for some reason). Picture I'm adding is of David A Simpson who the park is named after. As a gift to the city for naming a park after him he asked that a Flagpole be installed and he and his family agreed to change out the flags (American flag and P.O.W flag) whenever they become tattered. Enjoy the park!!"
