"Save your money. Paid 3,500 for a rebuild. Blown head gasket. Engine lasted me 9 months before needing a new head gasket job again. All that money down the drain. And the mechanic that put the engine back together did a horrible job. Water pump was bad the first week I got my car back. Saw the pump that was taken off and it was caked on with gasket sealer. Not sure if the old pump was reused. Also had an 02 sensor that was bad when it wasn't before. When I replaced it, it looked like it had been smashed when removed and just reinstalled. One ignition coil had the connecting wires cut and glued back on after it was reinstalled. Fuel line connector was broken and held together with a metal wire. Same for the hood lift. None of this was pointed out to me when I picked up the car. I understand things might break and accidents happen. But a responsible mechanic would fix what they broke and be honest with the customer. I was told it would be a two week job. Turned out to be two months. And it was very difficult to get in touch with the owner. I had to get rides to the shop whenever I needed to get a hold of him."

I found this guy's through a lady that I do car work for he a fun laid back kind of guy he's been in business since 1984 for a mechine shop that is very good shops not the best looking but the guy really knows his stuff he is very reasonable. Does nice work he paints the motors. They look photo finish ready."
