"You couldn’t make it better! Seriously, all bases are covered! That’s why I drive an hour to get my rabbit seen. I do wish your clinic were closer for emergency care but I am happy to have your staff caring for Bunndy in any capacity. You’ve been so reassuring with the RHDV2 vaccine clinics when I couldn’t get them at our regular clinic. Alison at reception is fantastic at her job and communicates so well with clients. The techs are always thorough and the interns are always polite. Dr. Kopp is good at explaining issues and is thorough in his exams. I will always recommend your clinic. I know that vet med is a hard job and is so often thankless so THANK YOU PLVH! You rock!"
"The staff and doctors are amazing folks. Dr. Pennington and Dr. Kopp are such kind hearted veterinarians. Since moving away from the area, I still recommend them to any fur baby owners far and wide. They treat all sorts of exotic pets as well and are the best in Nashville"
"Thank you so much for taking care of our sweet guinea pig Basil. He feels so much better now! The vet was a very effective communicator and had a really supportive team during the process. We know where to go for any animals needs!"
"Dr Kopp was so great in treating my dogs emergency eye ulcer. He took the time to research the best treatment plan & saved my baby’s eye. I am so grateful!!❤️"
"TLDR; this business values profits and punctuality over pets. An alternative exotic vets is Haley Vet. Another list from this business is attached. I’m actually writing this review while sitting in the waiting room of this location. Here’s some things that I wish I knew before bringing my pets to this location. I currently have several exotics that have been seen here. I’ve also been attending here for the last couple years. Before even coming to this location, I had been warned by previous exotic pet owners that Priest Lake Vet was very strict, showed little grace to clients, and was more expensive than other locations that service similar areas. However, having started seeing Dr. Kopp we assumed that this location would best serve the needs of our pets. We were wrong. Some things to keep in mind. We are teachers and as such have tight schedules but communicate when we will be late/running behind, etc. However, it does not matter at this location. We brought our gerbil, Cupcake, to be seen. We received a message communicating that this was a “work-in” appointment and therefore there would be a wait. We arrived at 5:07pm having driven for nearly 45 minutes after school expecting to wait to see the vet, but was told that there was no grace period and we would not be able to be seen. We offered to sit and wait to see if there was ANY hope that Cupcake would be seem. We said that we would even understand if they weren’t able to see us but we would still be willing to wait because she needed to be seen. It didn’t matter. I’ve never been at a location that didn’t have any type of grace period or even just a monetary penalty for being late. Or a location that didn’t allow you to even to speak to the vet (personal opinion but if you’re going to turn clients down, can’t you at least say it to their face?). It’s heartbreaking to say because there are so few exotic vets in this area but I wouldn’t recommend this place. Not only will you pay significantly more for services that are less expensive elsewhere but the lack of compassion was shocking. But at the end of the day, this is a business and they value profits over your pets."
