"These are not luxury apartments they have potential to be “nice” but it’s not luxury. Recently visited a friend of mine who just moved here and honestly I feel Bad for him he had a terrible move in experience (unit filthy, walls not painted properly, ant infestation, dirty vents, moldy shower.) I told Him he needs to be requesting some type of compensation but he’s a non confrontational guy and he just deals with it. There is poop all over in the grass so watch your step the halls are dirty stains everywhere and most of the time it smells. Now the clubhouse is luxury it’s beautiful if that same style can be applied to the units then these would be nice. I feel So bad for him because he wants to leave but he already paid money and signed a lease. He told me not to say anything but I feel Potential new residents should know to not be fooled by the pictures these are low quality built apartments. What’s even more funny is his walls wasn’t painting properly and he said he would do it himself they gave him a small Tupperware container full of paint. Now to me it’s insane to have to move in an apartment and have to “fix it up” when it’s supposed to be luxury since he won’t speak up I will. Lastly if you work mornings good luck there’s a couple of loud cars that are started late at night and it rocks the building. With better management and some proper tlc/ maintenance these can be nice average apartments but in its current state the units are run down and it seems management is to cheap to hire professionals to refurbish units before someone moves in."
"***This is a honest review and is meant to help and not harm*** When we first signed our lease, The Point at Five Oaks truly was the best start for my new family. John and Tayler were the office managers at the time and man, they were absolutely incredible. The way they cared for the tenants and brought clarity to all complains or concerns, was very welcoming. The beginning of our second year there, management changed and everything just began to become VERY different. Honestly, it began to go down hill. In August of 2023, during the hottest few weeks of the year, our AC went out. We had an 18 month old at the time and the urgency to get this fixed was non existent from the management of this complex. It took 6 weeks. 6 WEEKS to get this fixed. During this time they did bring us AC units and as you could imagine, in 100 degree weather, it didn’t provide as much relief as we had hoped. The AC units would leak from time to time because of the oil and condensation from how hot it was outside during these 6 weeks. During our final walk through, we were assured that there was no damage and that everything was clear to go! We just received our final bill and we were charged $1100 to replace the carpet. The exact spots that were shown as damage, where the exact spots the leaking AC units were placed in when we had no AC. We didn’t even reach out to dispute this because we knew that from our experience with the AC going out, they would continue to show no remorse and make us pay it anyways. There are plenty of units available here, and I believe reasons like ours are why. I think a lot of people have experienced this in a different way from The Point. All in all, our experience was really about a 2.5 out of 5 stars. This complex has so much potential to be back to what it was before the management change. However, honesty and integrity is what they struggle with. I’m not telling you to not rent here. But I am telling you to just be careful and be very direct upfront before signing that dotted line. Again, this is meant to help not harm. I hope this helps everyone in their decision to rent here."
"Parking has improved recently which is such a relief. And management now has the buildings being cleaned every Wednesday. Having a safe, clean place to live is so important, and these apartments almost feel like you’re in a resort! The staff is so warm and welcoming, big thanks to Kyle, Hannah, and Ashley for all they do!"
"Hannah Wilson was fantastic help to get me moved in in a hurry, she’s a literal angel who goes out of her way to make sure all residents and potential residents are happy with their experience! Since living at Pointe she is just a joy to see around her energy is radiant with positivity always."
"Lived here in 2021-2022 The apartments are in a decent location, and look absolutely stunning from the outside. The interior looks nice, but you'll find out very quickly that all of the material is low grade. If you live on the second floor and your apartment faces the parking lot, you'll hear and feel the downstairs neighbors opening and closing their garage doors EVERY SINGLE TIME. Parking is hit or miss. If you're someone that works past 6pm, be prepared to walk a few hundred feet every night just to get to your building. Don't expect to receive your security deposit back. They managed to find a way to charge me for every single room and appliance (including each individual closet, microwave, dishwasher, both showers). My family helped me move out and we deep cleaned the apartment over the weekend. I was still sent a bill for $600 in fees. This complex was quiet, peaceful, and all around great when I first moved in. The current management does not care about you or your satisfaction. They rely on the previous management companies success to get your money. DO NOT RENT HERE!"
