Reviews
"I LOVE coming to the visitors center for the Blue Plate Special with WDVX. We got to hear Zach Russell sing and we loved him!"
"Went here twice on my trip to Knoxville, once to stop in and look at gifts and once for the Blue Plate Special. Both times the people at the front desk were helpful and the Blue Plate Special was awesome! Wish I could've gone more times."
"Loved our Airbnb! The food and restaurant experiences were excellent!! Loved the museums and art gallery ! Highly recommend seeing all of downtown:) fun 4 day weekend"
"Quick, pleasant visit to the Knoxville Visitors Center. Nice gift shop and many pamphlets on local attractions and whatnot. Hosted by a lovely woman. There is a small stage where they have a live radio broadcast at noon most days! I think I'll check it out!"
"This is a MUST noontime M-Th and Sat stop if you're visiting downtown Knoxville. At the corner of Gay St and Summit Hill, the Visitor's Center offers a place to sit and enjoy LIVE on WDVX BLUE PLATE SPECIAL 89.9 radio broadcasting, with Red Hickey hosting. Sometimes two bands, and this day one. Amy Ray and her most excellent band moved us and grooved us for an hour. Red will walk you thru how to be live on the radio. Enjoy!"
