"I've been trying very hard to work with Stone World. We are building a house and need 140SF of granite. We chose a primary granite, got the quotes and decided on a primary granite based on the quote. We went back in to choose a slab and we needed a quote on secondary granite. At this point, we are ready to place the order and select a slab. We were event ready to go to Triton to pick a specific slab, but were told by Riana to just browse what's in the parking lot on our own instead. While my rep is Robyn, she is now supposedly on maternity leave for the last several months. But, while she's on "maternity leave" she is still "sort of" working and refuses to let anyone else help her clients. She hasn't been in touch with me at all, and has given us quotes that are not in line with our needs because she has not spoken to me. In the store, Riana tries to be helpful but Robyn is a roadblock. To the point that Riana is hesitant to even talk with people in the showroom without Robyn's permission. And, now, the quote she gave us 2 months ago has increased in price by over $10 PSF, about 20% - supposedly because Fantasy Brown marble has gone from being very plentiful to now being "rare" and more expensive. I don't believe it and that doesnt align with what others have told us. Robyn also said the price was only good if we had already selected a slab from Triton, not for the stuff they have in stock. I don't believe that either for numerous reasons. This is essentially a bait and switch and I won't work with people who lie to me. I've also heard from my builder that Stone World chose not to follow his specific instructions and ended up parking trucks on new sod - ruining it and tracking mud through the new home. He's just as happy to work with someone else. Sorry, I do believe the service is good and you would do a quality installation. But, the difficulty in working with you and the lack of communication combined with a lack of understanding and apparent interest in our project we are now looking elsewhere. I could end up paying more, but I won't deal with a company that doesn't respect me."

"My wife and I used Stoneworld for a new granite bathroom countertop prior to putting our house on the market. Their staff was very courteous, efficient and professional, and we were well pleased. We subsequently moved into a new home 5 months later that already had a large stone top on an island, but needed 2 holes drilled for a soap dispenser and pushbutton disposal switch. I contacted Louwrens and Riana, who actually sent their staff out THAT DAY to provide this service and didn't even request any payment! "granite top looks great but they don't take out the sink you have to pay someone else for that. they don't seal around the top of they granite back splash says it takes grout and they don't do that. if you want a complete job don't use these people"
