"STOP READ!!STOP READ!!STOP READ!! I had my car towed to there shop off college cause it was the closest to me and seen good reviews. after I dropped it off I started. read the b.s. reviews. I knew i was supposed to have my ignition lock replaced. Ray said that he had inspect my truck to make sure it was the ignition lock that needed to be changed. it costs a 100 dollars day, he didn't call me all day so i called him. He charged me $234 dollars,That's why they an atm by the front counter.He said there card reader is down. They didn't change my ignition lock . The following Monday my truck didn't start i took the plastic cover off and it had the same dirty ignition lock.I not sure what I want to do yet. don't make a mistake like me!!!"

"I brought my 1996 F150 truck to this shop to get some engine codes read and get to the cause of the issues so I could pass smog. Spoke with Shop Tech Rahmez who was professional and very knowledgeable. Ramez, was able to tell me exactly what engine codes I had ,and what needed to be done to fix and pass smog. It's hard to find a good honest mechanic that will not cheat you, or give you the run around. Do yourself a favor and go and talk with the shop tech Rahmez and get your vehicle fixed and back on the road. Thanks again, Rahmez, and Ray for all your help!!"

"I previously changed the battery on my vehicle at the BMW dealership. As such, my OBDII had not been ready for smog check. I had driven the car for an extensive amount of miles per the instruction from the dealership and the OBDII was still not ready for smog. I brought my vehicle to SD Smog & Auto Repair for a quick diagnosis. Ray from the shop was able to identify the issue with the OBDII very quickly. The BMW recommended drive cycle was able to be performed. Ray then performed the STAR certified smog check for me. SD Smog & Auto resolved the issue that had taken me (and the BMW dealership) weeks in less than a day. Highly recommended."

Ray also explained everything before working on the car and provided an easy to read invoice of the work preformed. "Ray is extremely unprofessional!!!!! I really don't mind paying any mechanics price for repairs as long as they do it right the first time!!! Ray does not do it right the first time! He doesn't know how to take accountability to fix his wrongs! He takes on jobs knowing he doesn't have the proper equipment to do the job right the first time! Do not go to this place they will rob you for your money while putting on a smile on their faces. He worked on both of my cars and left me with more problems in the end including time lossed, money lossed, a lot headaches . He lacks honesty in his character! Absolutely the worst mechanic in San Diego County. I would give -1 star if that was an option."
