"Recently completed two trips with True Limo Svs. First trip was having True Limo as a subcontractor, second trip was a direct booking after the previous prime tried to raise prices. Rather than pay higher prices to the dispatch, I decided to contract directly with the sole-proprietor doing the work, hence cutting out the middle man. What people don't realize is that a lot of these limo services listings are actually dispatch centers who then subcontract to independent drivers who do the work at a fraction of the cost. By booking directly with the driver, not only can you get lower prices, but you also help out the small businesses with more money going to them instead of the middle men. Anyways, Leroy was great. He was very knowledgeable and professional. Pick up was in Los Feliz with drop off at LAX. Leroy was there down to the dot to pick two people up along with 10 suit cases in his late model Escalade. Although I prefer the Suburban, the Escalade is the same vehicle but with a different badge. Ride was very smooth as he had premium spring water available, took the express lanes to the airport, and help unload all 10 suit cases weight up to 50lbs a piece. On the return ride, it worked like clock work. This time there were 12 suitcases. I opted for the upgraded services for in airport greeting as this will resolve a lot of logistics issues on the tail end. As we traveled as part of a family trip, Leroy was kind enough to help gather the other 10 suitcases as part of the family trip for a staggering total of 22 suitcases for 7 people. On top of that, Leroy also helped out a random stranger waiting for their luggage while we were planning our logistics at the baggage claim. It shows the kind of gentle and kind soul that Leroy has. He will definitely be my exclusive driver to/from LAX and any other special events! Now, hiring a private driver might be considered a luxury, but consider this. When booking with ride sharing company, they take about 50-70% of the ride fare, with the remaining 30% left for the driver, the person doing the actual work. On top of that, our ride was a full size SUV, not a economy car so plenty of space. You can fit up to 4 people, 8 checked suitcases, and 4 carry on suitcases. Split 4 ways, you can have the convenience of a private driver for a fraction of the price. Don't know if there will be SUVs available? Booking a private driver takes the guess work out of that, along with surge pricing. For a flat rate, the driver will be there at the agreed upon time to take you to the airport. And best of all, you'll be riding the express/carpool lane rather than being stuck in the slow lane."
