"Tampa Auto/Tire Shop - “$25 to repair a tire? Based on how expensive your car is? 32.99 plus tax anywhere else” —Got it fix for $10.00 —Dishonest mechanics, beware! Dishonest assessments, unnecessary repairs, and inflated prices. Find a trustworthy alternative."
"Alfred made a mistake on a simple radiator replacement and destroyed my car’s engine. He offered to fix his mistake, but did the bare minimum and didn’t truly fix the mistake. He ruined a 6 year old car. No one should go to this mechanic."
"I recommend this shop to everyone. He helped me when no one else would. Very honest and highly knowledgeable. He is the most professional mechanic and so respectful.. Thank you so much Alfred"
"This week ((June 28, 2022 at 5:30pm) i brought in my car again because it was loosing power and was making loud noise). The mechanic said it looks like the catalytic convertor. Surprisingly it has never been changed since I purchased the car in 2018 and has now 130,000 Mike's. Today, 7 months and $12,000+ later, same problem still unresolved, currently the car is non-drivable and it is only 4 years old. I have lost my patience (very politely speaking) Update: June 29, 2022 - I went this morning and yelled at the mechanic for being ignorant after I did some reading about catalytic convertor. The mechanic admitted that he has never changed the convertor (even though the car had 130,000 miles and the engine was overheated at about 50,000 miles). When the engine got overheated at the about 50,000 miles, he took it apart and showed me hiw damaged/Burnet it was. He said he can clean it and it will cost less than rebuilding it. And so he cleaned it, but the catalytic convertor was not changed. A few months after the engine cleaning, the car broke down again while I was driving (the engine just died and I had the car towed). The mechanic said the engine has to be rebuilt and it would cost about $6,000 to do so. So he did. I paid and was happy that it worked...for a few weeks. One morning the engine didn't even start. So called AAA and the technician forced the engine to start. I drove to the mechanic shop right away. He couldn't find the problem but changed something because it was not fully charging (only 80%) and told me to NOT plug in my phone charger because it using the power (I thought it was stupid what he said but did it anyway since he is the expert). A few weeks later (June 28, 2022; look at the top of this post) the car started making the loud noise and had no power to go forward. And that's how I ended up with a broken car every few months, weeks...why? Because the mechanic NEVER bothered to change the original catalytic convertor even though the engine has been: overheated, cleaned, then rebuilt, and then finally car failed to drive forward due to poor power. It took this many problems, months, and $12,000+ for the mechanic to even consider that catalytic convertor must be CHANGED. And if you believe I am exaggerating, I have the receipts. Also, his assistant mechanic had the adocity to call me crazy when i yelled at them for being ignorant. They both (the main mechanic and his assistant) repeatedly lied that the catalytic convertor has nothing to do with the past engine problems). Maybe the mechanic should call the cops and tell them that a woman was not being nice, yelled at him and called him ignorant."
"I had the worst experience, I took my car to get checked and the dishonest owner removed my parts to supposedly check it, and took out my parts. They also quoted me $3000 more than other shops in the area. They are dishonest, and I would not recommend. They steal your parts and want to overcharge."
