Creekside & The Back Alley

"This started out to be a place where primarily a group of food trucks offered a variety of eats but is now much more like an outdoor restaurant with permanent counters for ordering both food and drinks. And they still have plenty of menu choices even when food trucks are not there (had the buffalo chicken wrap which was delicious). They also have some covered shelters along with over 25 picnic tables (many with umbrellas) to have your meal or adult beverage outside along the creek. Highway traffic can be noisy after all the tree leaves fall which normally serves as a buffer zone between the highway and the eating area. But also have a fire pit & televisions for watching games and a contained kids area for them to play. In other words, there's something for everybody, including nice restrooms."

"Okay, I was driving by and Creekside caught my eye; I am glad it did. This Restaurant and Bar is setup like a Mini Park offering something for families, adults, children and others throughout several areas. Very clean and what's more is they have plans for more improvements in the near future according to Rebecca the Event Manager. I saw signage posted around the grounds for various special Events. The Smash Burger Combo Meal Special is really special, delicious; I consider it the best Hamburger that I have had in 3 1/2 years living in Knoxville; the thick and juicy Burger came with Onion Rings (a little soggy), Good Chips and Delicious Salsa, and a very refreshing, better than average for sure Lemonade (in a bottle) all for $10, that is a good deal I am telling you! Even the little packets of Ketchup are better than any I have been served here in Tennessee Restaurants (Trent the server told me they owner pays considerably higher for these packets because they are the best (can't believe I am talking Ketchup packets)! I talked with other diners, all of them really enjoy Creekside for the food and the variety. On the day I visited Creekside had three food units selling their own featured specialties. One featured Potatoes, another featured Tacos and the third unit specialized in Ice Cream. Another special feature of the Park is a Bar they call, The Back Alley... Bartender, Lucas was proud of their well-stocked "great selection" as he expressed it! One large family occupied a large patio style room that had a large screen TV. Another group of about 10 people were sitting on an enclosed patio. "Horrible! $12.50 for pancakes, and they were paper thin and very small! The bacon was dry and cold. We also had a burger and egg rolls. Both were mediocre. Overly salted. I'm not sure where the high reviews come from?"

"Reek side is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. They have it! Pool tables, beer pong tables, fire pits, covered seating, and even yes, even a playground (although this reviewer wishes more parents supervised their children with more care and diligence!) Creekside is very dog friendly. Our bartender was very skilled, friendly, and she was profession and made delicious drinks. Several good food trucks available!"
