"Maybe my worst experience ever at a tire store. At first, I had a slow leak on a tire that I bought with a set only three months ago. They said it couldn't be patched because the nail was in the sidewall area of the tire. They said it wouldn't be a problem because the tires were so new and I had purchased the "Road Hazard" Warranty that came with an extra cost. They did not have the tire in stock but said they could get it from another location. The process of getting the tire transferred took more than three weeks. After finally being notified that the tire was in (btw, I checked with them regularly in the meantime), I arrived at the shop shortly after 7am. Two and a half hours later, they pulled the car around and I asked if we were good to go. The worker said, "After we take care of the proration." Huh?? I said that I thought this was covered under the warranty. He said that the warranty did not cover this as a road hazard and that I owed them $106. I told them I wasn't happy, to which he replied, "This just saved you $170." I said, "That's not the way I see it." So much for Gateway Tire in the future. His name is Justin."
