Dollar General

"Just as I was about to leave, I witness a guy stealing a bunch of items in their basket, the workers seen him before, and saw him walk out, from what I heard, they saw him go by the door and didn't do anything about it. Also, I worked at Dollar Tree before, and the customer service is way better than this dollar general. Do not try to agrue with the customer, as that can escalate stuff. Most managers would tell their employees that but what I witnessed, only this lady with the black hair was calm about everything."

"so went to the store on Saturday evening around 9ish. The store was in complete disarray which is not unusual. it's close to my house so I try to make it work. there was a young girl working the register. I scanned all my items in my cart into my app so I could apply the digital coupons. there seemed to be an issue when I got to the register. She proceeded to reach out to the manager on duty. who refused to give me his name. tall dirty fella with broken glasses and dandruff snowing off his head. she talked to him on speaker phone from her cell phone right in front of me. he then said its likely I didn't know what I was doing and he was on his way. a few minutes later this boy shows up and doesn't even look at me or acknowledge me. just walks up and says sorry you don't have the coupons entered. I then showed him my app and he said too bad, looks like u have to start over. I asked what I done wrong and proceeded to be told that if I didn't know he couldn't help me. the poor girl at the front was in shock didn't know what to do. I tried several times to complete my purchase and was unsuccessful. I will be posting his picture in hopes someone from DG Corporate will get back with me on this mess. just completely unacceptable. I have been trying to reach upper management about this. I will not let this go. he needs to be taught the proper way to handle being in management. and what a terrible reflection on this store and their management if they think his way is the proper way. it is not."

"It's okay when you need something and don't want to go to HEB. Every time we are there' boxes everywhere and can't get to certain areas of the store. No clearance items. The review was done 3 months ago! This is last night 1/29/22. Went for the Gain 200 count dryer sheets that $2 off .. none. My husband needed deodorant none. I'm 3 min away. I'm tired of this in Unstocked store"

"Love this Dollar General! It is right by my house and I visit several times a week. It really is like a mini grocery store/Wal-Mart. It's a great place to pop in if you just need to grab bread or milk because it's small and manageable and almost never a line. When it comes to groceries, but a really extensive selection. You'd be surprised what you can get here. Plus, they've stepped up their game and now offer premium products like Dunkin Donuts coffee creamer and Silk almond milk. They have everything from home decor to clothing, kids toys, arts and crafts, office supplies, holiday items..... just check out Dollar General and see for yourself. The manager Shenitha is very helpful and friendly. She remembers me and always makes conversation when I come in. My only complaint would be they always have big carts in the aisles with boxes or empty boxes like they cant keep up with stocking, but I don't really care because I love shopping there so much and the prices are right. Did I mention I love this Dollar General!????"

"These pictures were taken on Sept 2nd. This is literally what the store looks like everytime I try to go and pick up a few things. The staff doesn't seem to care and forget trying to run in and out. It is a nightmare and I'm not sure why no one that works there seems to do anything about it or care. Have some pride people!"
