Clothes Mentor 1604 & Blanco

"I’m posting this review to share the experience that my mother had at this location recently. She is a loyal customer and has been for years. Unfortunately during the holidays she did a lot of last minute shopping. She was shopping late in the evening and was rushed out at closing time. At this point, she stepped on a security tag that was on a pair of pants and accidentally broke it. She forgot to mention it to the staff but still returned the clothing that she wasn’t going to buy to the counter. Again, she didn’t report the broken tag because she was being rushed out at closing time. She recently went back last week to shop and was told she was no longer allowed to shop at both locations because the owner “suspected” that she may have tried to steal product. She has history with the store and is part of the rewards program. She told me this very upsetting story because she didn’t do anything wrong nor was there any proof of wrongdoing. I hope that the owner can reach out to her and make this right. Unfortunately, this was one of her favorite places to shop affordably and now she isn’t welcomed which makes it difficult to find nice clothing at a great price."

"Take your stuff somewhere else to be sold!! I took a lot of name brand clothing with tags brand new to them to try to sell, the only thing they wanted to buy was a pair of Tori Burch sandles that I paid well over $200 for & they offered me $20. What a rip off!! While in standing there, the lady next to me was trying to sell an LV bag and all they wanted to give her was $70. Not worth it!!"

"Was taking really nice clothes in there. And they didn't even take the time to look at them. There were Michael kors purses and dresses and shoes and they said that they couldn't use them. Basically they didn't even take the time to look at them. I went next door ate Subway and before I could even get my sandwich and sit down it was already done so they just did not even want to mess with them. Waste of time waste of trip will not recommend this to anybody"

"Came in here to just check it out. Was hoping for a greet just cause it feels nice to be acknowledged. Plus they weren’t busy at all. So that ruins my customer service. So, I used to work for one years ago in the DFW area. So I’m a bit familiar of their standards of buying. Decided to ask the employee what all are they needing right now. Employee looked at me like I was dumb and responded with “all women clothing” I asked them again. What are you CURRENTLY taking in. That’s when they told me “oh all winter clothing”. so them taking clothes in is just whoever is looking through your stuff. And if they think it will sell. For all who are upset about them being very picky."
