"Congressional office museum is very interesting"
"Whipple Hall on the campus of Illinois College is a classroom and office building containing the Paul Findley Congressional Museum. A recreation of Congressman Findley's office includes his Abraham Lincoln-owned sofa and memorabilia. Other alumni who were or are members of Congress are memorialized elsewhere in the building. Other Lincoln furniture and artifacts are in the building or elsewhere on campus. Note that handicap access is via an elevator on the West side accessible from the campus driveway. Lowest level is archival storage, then ground access, first floor museum, and second floor offices and classroom space. The curved staircase from first to second floor is attractive but too narrow and steep for all users."
