"Why I work at Guidance College I started my career at Guidance College as a student. Already having an advanced degree, I wanted to embark upon the study of Islam for personal reasons. What I found compelling about Guidance was my interactions with both the administration and professors. Despite the online component I always felt connected to the professors, students and the administration. I had previously completed online courses and found them to be remote and unfriendly. I was told that Guidance College was “my college.” I have always felt that to be true. My first Arabic professor had me call him every day for the entire semester to work on my pronunciation.
