Fairmont Dallas

"I went for the weekend with a friend for one night. It was an okay experience. A few things that made it not worth it was that they had only one elevator running for the south side of the hotel. Which had made the ability to leave horrible since we were on the 14th floor. We waited 45 minutes for the elevator and we ended up just taking the stairs with all of our luggage. Valet was nice, and the people were friendly. Same with all the staff. The place gives “old” hotel so if that’s your vibe by all means. It’s beautiful in the lobby but inside the room it could’ve used a bit of remodeling for sure. Anyways, location was nice and you can walk to restaurants. Overall it was “okay”."

"This is not my 1st review of this Fairmont and unfortunately I’m stuck here yet again for another work event. So far, service is horrible!! My teammate was treated so poorly by valet tonight and management here and you should be ashamed of your staff. What kind of Fairmont is this?? It’s the worst and I’ve had to stay here multiple times. I’ve never had a worse experience in a hotel multiple times than here. I stay over 150 days/ yr. in hotels. DO NOT STAY AT THIS LOCATION!! I just had 2 men walk by the window of my room, terrifying when you’re not expecting it several floors above ground! When I called down to tell the hotel they put me on hold?! The landline barely works because the phones are also dated. Can you keep your guests safe and maybe alert people that someone will be walking by your window? My room while is not clean nor was it replenished in the way of my teammates room was. I dread having to stay here and super disappointed in the lack of cleanliness, outdated, filthy rooms. It’s disgusting!! As mentioned, I’ve been stuck here multiple times for work, it continues to be a horrible stay. Is this a Fairmont???!!! I’ve asked this in other reviews!! Please close this location it’s horrible!"

"Loved everything about this hotel! Did the Gatsby event. Met some great people here. All staff greeted us at every part of the hotel. They ensured we wanted for nothing. Valet is extremely busy, plan for extra time with that. Our room was clean, bed was comfy and the view of the sunset was beautiful! Would definitely stay here again!"

"Our family had a wonderful experience here. A great place to stay and a very walkable location. We were able to walk with and use a stroller to take our kids to the museums nearby (Perot and Aquarium). The room was comfortable and clean. The service was the best part of the stay (valet, bellhops, front desk, wait staff) were all nice. We enjoyed having breakfast at the Pyramid as well."

"Spent an excellent weekend getaway for our anniversary at this longstanding, historic luxury hotel. The check-in experience was very smooth, and the staff were professional, polite, and well-informed. The room was well appointed with a blend of classic and modern decor. There was a bustling bar area in the open lobby with plenty of seating. We went at Christmas, so there were seasonal decorations everywhere to accompany the festively dressed couples going to and from various hilarious holiday parties. The valet staff was on point with getting our vehicle to us quickly."
