"Ellis County Pet Resort has taken outstanding care of my dog! I have nothing but trust and respect for this company as an employee and a customer! The dogs are barley in the kennel during the day and the only time they are in the kennel is for meals! There is always someone watching the dogs and the company has a great cleaning process of the kennels to prevent any illnesses going around. Definitely the best place to bring your dog and a fun place to work! As employees at Ellis County Pet Resort our number 1 priority is ensuring your dog is happy and safe! We love to cuddle each and every dog and play fetch with them!"

"Super nice staff. 5 stars The facility looked clean. 5 stars The staff looked like they genuinely cared for the animals, which is comforting. I'd give 3 stars for the pricing. I was new to the resort. They have a first boarding day free as long as you book more than one day, and you need to ask for it. They do not offer it at reservation. If you get a play package, they still charge you for that day. I brought in my two large pups (70 & 55ish lbs) with the highest package, which is three 15 minute play times a day, a gourmet treat, and a bedtime story one on one with a staff member, one day picture (their photos didnt include other dogs but they said they did play well with others), one bedtime picture (which is cute). That play package is approximately $34 a day. They stayed in different kennels. I did not want them together. I failed to ask for a smaller play package on Saturday because their pick up time is 3, there was no bedtime story and I got a call at 11:42am saying they were ready for pick up because they had their bath already. Bath was $50 for each. Two days for two dogs in a separate kennel, with a bath that included a $3 dollar additional fee, with the highest play package and the first boarding night free came out to approximately $424 dollars. If we didn't get the first boarding night free, it would have been approximately $524. Super nice staff, clean facility, but for boarding, it was a little pricey for us, especially since they weren't playing all day."

"Absolutely LOVE Ellis County Pet Resort! Our Belgium Malinois goes Monday- Friday while we are at work and every single day I pick up a tired and happy pup! They offer great packages, send pictures of your pooch, and honestly love your pet like they were their own. Our girl is afraid of people until she gets to know you and they have been amazing understanding her and work with her. She gives "her people" there kisses goodbye everyday and it makes our hearts and minds so happy. We even had her lodged their for a long weekend and they were so amazing about keeping us posted on how she was doing and relaxing all our worries. If you are looking for a safe place for your fur baby- look no further!"
