Holiday Inn Express & Suites Waxahachie, an IHG Hotel

"Usually I have no complaints about the rooms with IHG, but this resort room 417 was sad. The room was clean and small. There was water damage on the ceiling in several places with the peeled paint hanging down. The walls had water puckers in several places with dark areas that may have been mold. The bed was comfortable but the headboard was missing a plug of material from the upholstery. The lighting was dim and poor. It was good to have a fan in the bathroom but the tub didn't look like it had been cleaned after someone stepped in it with shoes on. Good to bring shower shoes to this resort. One of the bath towels was stained, not sure if it was blood or make up. The ocean view was nice from the tiny balcony. Holiday Inn Resort/ IHG please do better with room upkeep. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Having been able to enjoy the heated pool, hot tub and cozy fire pit areas were the highlights of my hotel stay. Maybe next time I will get to experience the restaurant, theater, game room and fitness center."

"Front desk was very welcoming only thing was bad that the bathroom door would not close you had to lift the door up in order for it to close breakfast was okay could have been better but overall my stay was pleasant love the pool area and love that I could walk to nearby restaurants and stores"

"Good place to stay. I will stayed during a business trip. This hotel is conveniently located to restaurants and shopping. It's about 35 minutes to the airport, but you don't have to worry about getting stuck in heavy Dallas traffic. Room was clean. There was a little renovation being done at the front desk area, but otherwise, the place was clean."
