"Melissa has been so wonderful the 15 months I was here!!! I highly, highly recommend this place! I had one major issue with a water leak and maintenance was quick to fix the problem. I would renew here for sure if I wasn’t moving out of state."
"I enjoy living here. It is a nice complex with great people. It is well kept and all the office staff/manager is helpful. Shout out to Dorothy, from the leasing/management office, who is readily available to assist me with any requests I have had, as well as Anthony, and the rest maintenance team!"
"Since my last post the quality of the facility care and the management have improved significantly. Everyone has been supportive and responded to situations appropriately. I’m general it is a good community and the apartments are generally nice with limited issues. I’d add photos but the grounds are reasonably a combination of mud puddles and icebergs, both of which my dog supports."
"Earlier today I was verbally accosted by Diane who works in the leasing office at Dwell at Naperville. It has left me feeling unsafe and concerned for my well being as a resident of this complex. This afternoon as I was working out in the gym on our property, Diane came through with a man holding a clipboard. She wasn't talking to the man so I took it as an opportunity to ask her if we could get wipes placed into the wipe dispenser at the gym. We were both cordial and had smiles on our faces. It was a brief interaction of mere seconds. I asked the man if he worked there because he looked like a maintenance worker. He told me he was getting a tour of the property at that point. 40 minutes later Diane came storming into the gym. I was on the treadmill facing the door with headphones in and she came right up to me. I took my headphones out to hear what she had to say. I thought it was going to be something about replacing the wipes, but instead she verbally attacked me instead. She told me that I need to stop talking to her while she's on tour at the property. To be fair, I asked her one other time if we could get someone to come in and sweep the floor and dust. The gym here is almost always filthy. She explained that if the gym needs something repaired that I need to come see them. I explained to her that I have done that in the past and that I thought this was a good opportunity to present this information since she was with a man that looked like a maintenance employee at the property. She then threatened to file a grievance against me, and that if I interrupt another tour that I won't like what will happen, and stormed off, slamming the door to the office. Diane then left and in came another employee to replace the wipes. She was struggling to figure out how to put them in so I offered to help. I saw that her hands were shaking. I asked if she was upset and she said she was. That's when I asked why Diane was so angry. Diane then came storming back in as she was eavesdropping on our conversation. She said that I should stop acting so nice to this employee. She then accused me of being rude and she threatened to file a grievance against me a second timeif I don't strop acting rude. At this point, I have done nothing rude. I have been calm. That's when I told her that she needs to stop instigating and go back to the office. Diane then started cursing at me, I cursed back, called her a Karen, and told her that none of this would have happened if she didn't instigate. At this point Diane is still acting unhinged and threatened to call the police. I don't know what for, there was nothing criminal that took place. She finally left and I proceeded to help the other girl get the wipes in place, finish my workout and made a couple of calls. I'm waiting to hear back from this complaint that I filed. I will be sure to update here when I get more information. Unfortunately this happened on a Saturday and everything is closed. I will be sure to update if anyone contacts me about this complaint. I pray she doesn't do this to anyone else. It's unacceptable to live in fear with these threats."
"Their application process for retirees was unworkable. It was either designed by someone who hasn't a clue about retirement financial management, or to softly exclude old folk from living there. The people there were so unaccommodating to solutions that totally alleviated their credit risk, I have to think it's the latter. I guess they want to project a hip young vibe in the complex. I'm seeing what the DuPage County and Illinois Housing Authority has to say about it. In any case, it looks like I dodged a bullet. Those other reviews!! Looks like the management is unresponsive to their tenants. That was certainly my experience. When I was transferred to the Property Manager she just disconnected without even speaking to me."
