The Laurel Apartments

"I liked living here. I moved to be closer to family, but I would have happily renewed my lease if that wasn’t the case. The apartment building was kept clean, the maintenance team was responsive, and management clearly worked to add value to living here from get togethers and events. The courtyard and gym areas were really well maintained and kept up to date. Everything just felt upscale without being too stuffy or too trendy. Security was not an issue. I lived alone, and I got locked out of my apartment and even the third party locksmith that I called couldn’t get in. Maintenance worked with me and I was able to get back in with no issues. Management will also increase security if there is an influx of people at the Dome which is nice. During my lease, there were issues with the water being off for a few days. Even if it was unavoidable, management was very communicative and worked with the nearby hotel to help us with other accommodations if we needed it. The only complaint I have is there there were recurring issues with the elevators my entire lease and the parking garage is a tight fit. If you’re driving anything larger than a compact SUV, it’s going to be a tough time. The third party that manages the garage is really helpful in finding a spot that works for your car. There are also other parking garages close by."

"I have lived here for over 2.5 years and these past 3 days have been horrible! The single star is so I can simply add my review. We have had absolutely no running water to cook, clean, and flush our toilets. Water was supposed to be on today…it is still off! The Laurel better credit my monthly lease payment as I have to now stay in a hotel! Absolutely no information from the management! Last update was late yesterday saying that the water will be back on today. It is 1:23 pm and we have NO RUNNING WATER. This has become a great health concern as well as total unprofessionalism exhibited by the management. Currently their communications freeze appears to be a “duck and cover” tactic. Totally horrible conditions now especially for the monthly rent payments that is paid to the property management group!"

"The building is beautiful, clean, and I’ve had the best experience with the Laurel staff from the day of my initial phone call. 1. They are the only leasing office that consistently answers their phone! 2.When I called, there was nothing available that fit what I was looking for, but Merelynn told me she would call me back if something opened up, and that’s what she did. 2. She was on time for our appointment, personable, friendly, and she gave a very thorough tour of the unit and the building. 3. After agreeing to apply she was very informative and responsive to all of my questions and emails the whole way through. Merelynn is just great and she’s great at her job! Thank you and im so excited to be a new resident of the Laurel Apartments."

"My husband and I enjoyed our over two year stay at the Laurel. We chose the Kiener unit, which is one of the smaller two bed, two baths offered. However despite its size, the unit was beautiful and more than enough space for the two of us. The staff and management were excellent. They demonstrated their care for the residents with the frequent property updates, various community events held throughout the year, and resident discounts at local restaurants and the MX movie theater. From the moment we toured the apartments, we knew the Laurel would be a great fit for us- and it was. Thank you to all of the Laurel staff!"

"I lived at The Laurel for 2 1/2 years, and I can’t tell you how much I loved living there. The apartments are beautiful and well-maintained. When you submit a maintenance request, they are taken care of typically the same day. The staff is friendly, and dog friendly. I have a six year old, 97 pound American Bully, and I swear he was a small celebrity in this unit. Take advantage of the atrium, because that’s how you end up making most of your friends in the unit. Impromptu parties always happen down there, you’ll end up, going down to Grill and talking to the person. Who’s grilling next to you, next thing, you know you’re all sharing meals and drinks and exchanging phone numbers. Really truly. I had the best experience there and was very sad to have to leave. Trust me, you’re going to really love living here!"
