"Lexie (leasing Agent) is phenomenal! She helped me through the whole process and ensured that move in for me was effortless, especially with me being a first time renter. Everyone at the office seems to be very nice but most of my interactions were with Lexie which was very helpful and it eliminated any confusion/miscommunication."
"Very very very thankful for Lexi in the leasing office. This is my first solo apartment with no family members or roommates, and she did such an amazing job making sure I knew exactly what this property entails. When I arrived to pick up my keys Lexi was very busy with starting a tour and helping a few others apply. She still took the time and effort to explain everything to me."
"Please read updates: So many ants. Hundreds after they supposedly sprayed and I clean up after every meal except maybe the odd crumb, they supposedly sent someone a week after I put in the request, there is a gap between the wall and floor leaving the subfloor visible and a hole in the wall behind the dish washer, laminate floor directly over the old laminate. I am not a dirty person I clean my apartment weekly. The odd crumb here or there is no reason for hundreds of ants is the sprayed back in may a week after I moved in. Update 21 June: I did try to go in last Saturday (18 June) bc I work 8 to 6 and bc you’re underpaying your staff, maintenance requests online takes about 2 weeks. How about you properly pay people so you can have full staffing, and fire the maintenance people who clearly don’t understand their job so when an apartment is moved into there aren’t these issue. Why did you spray my apartment after I moved in? Why not before? Why did it take nearly two weeks for them to confirm my issue and then schedule someone to come out? Why after I sprayed this weekend where I pulled my dishwasher out from the wall did I wake up to 20 more ants? Tell your District manager you need to be able to pay more so not only one office team member is coming in on a Saturday when she has plans bc no one else wants to bc they’re underpaid? And no, she didn’t tell me they’re underpaid, I know they’re underpaid bc if they weren’t and were happy to work here they would be okay coming in to help out and you’d have the staffing to cover it. Clearly you the management and the upper management above you are incompetent or protecting the owners bottom line over your renters QOL. My entire building, me and those above me are dealing with ants so they’re clearly in the walls which means they have access to the walls which means you’re not maintaining these buildings whatsoever Update 2 June 28: After dealing with maintenance most issues have been resolved. Maintenance requests are best handled directly with management not through the website. Office staff is friendly and does try to help Edit 3: had my parents staying with me for more than two weeks tried to let office staff know. They want to run background and credit checks on my parents and charge them an application fee (bare in mind I make 3x rent on my own). It’s this or I’m evicted when all I was trying to do was the right thing bc my parents will be here for 8 weeks and cannot have credit ran due to credit checks potentially causing them to have higher interest rates. Also. Found a hole in my ceiling above my bathroom that they just talked and pained over Edit: turns out it wasn’t just the ceiling rotting through but the entire wall that was rotted out and they just painted over. How do I know this. Bc more paint peeled off the wall and upon inspection the entire wall can be pressed in about 2 inches. Stay away from this and other Mills properties. I’ll never rent from Mills properties again. Edit 07/31/2022: It’s been a month since I’ve asked them to come fix my bathroom fan which doesn’t vent my bathroom. They haven’t fixed it. And now I have black mold forming in my bathroom. Clearly, Lisa, the property manager, is wholly incompetent or just plain doesn’t care. Update 12/21/23 my ceiling still leaks and they never finished it the first time in my kitchen."
"Staff is great, neighbors are respectful noise-wise, some people just don’t pick up their pets waste. If there were more trash cans or baggie stations I think that issue would be solved, there is only one trash can and a few baggie stations in our complex area. Otherwise, I recommend this place. The apartment was clean on move in, the carpets are soft and not itchy, the doors open and close freely, and the complex is very walkable."
"Lexie was our agent and she was incredibly helpful and kind during the process of choosing our new home. She was able to cut us a deal that was super helpful to us! Since we’ve moved in we’ve have a couple things awry; there wasn’t a shelf in the freezer and the dishwasher sounded like a jet plane in the kitchen. Once I let Lexie know, she immediately had someone come out and install a shelf for us, and instead of just replacing a part in the dishwasher they gave us a WHOLE NEW ONE! The maintenance folks were really kind and respectful of our space, they brought in a package that would’ve been left at the door, gently unloaded the old dishwasher when they were replacing it, and even reorganized the freezer when they installed the shelf. My only actual complaint about living here so far is that not many people seem to clean up after their pets, but that’s just how some people work so I’m not going to include that in the stars of this review. So far so good living here, I definitely recommend :)"
