"When we signed the lease, the leasing agent specifically told us that flooding is almost never an issue, which has turned out to be wildly inaccurate. In our first 6 months we had 3 major flooding incidents with an inch of water covering most of the apartment. The maintenance workers said this kind of flooding happens constantly in all the buildings. Recently they removed all but two dumpsters from the property without warning. Those dumpsters are now overflowing, and now the complex is sending us texts threatening to fine everyone who lives here if people don't find somewhere else to put their trash. Additionally, because the cold water supply is shared by all 6 apartments, the cold water output slows to a trickle whenever anyone in the building flushes a toilet, runs the sink, etc. This means half the time you can't use the sink, and the shower water turns boiling hot every few minutes. We weren’t able to view the apartment in person, and the layout doesn’t match what we were shown online at all. The arrangement of rooms is different, the kitchen has less counter space, and instead of a private balcony we have a tiny nook that is shared with the neighbor and is barely wide enough to walk through. We paid extra for the renovated unit, and although most of the apartment is pretty nice, the closets are weird with old rusty bars and wobbly tilted shelves. I moved here in large part because of all the positive reviews, but given my experience I wish I’d chosen somewhere else."

"We have rented here for over a year and while we love our apartment for space and value I cannot get over the pest issues. I keep a very clean home and have not had these issues is any previous apartment complex. I have found cockroaches crawling on my walls throughout my time here and even in the lobby. I am not even on the ground level Today I found a mouse curled up in my hallway. The frustrating part is that each time I call in to report the incidents they have no real solution or fix. Management will take no accountability. I was literally just told, "this is a common issue, it happens in the summer. There really isn't anything we can do. Feel free to put out traps". No spraying the perimeter, no exterminators called, nothing. We will definitely be looking elsewhere when this lease expires. Additionally, if you care about having access to a pool, this one never gets cleaned out. The ultilities are also higher here than in previous apartment complexes I've lived at because the windows have huge gaps and overall poor insulation in the unit. Again, it is a nice apartment, especially the kitchen. But not enough to overlook the problems. Would not recommend"

"I have lived here just going on 3 years now, and I have to say that the newer management has definitely made a difference so far. (Thank goodness!) They take time to become familiar with us, and the lady who answers the phone is always courteous and speaks to us as if we were equals (unlike the previous management, who was a little mean at times to be honest.) And I am not one to complain often, but when something is broken or not working right, the maintenance crew are pretty timely and also respectful of my home and rules. The manager woman is eccentric and vibrant at most times and it is refreshing. I like my home and don't plan on leaving anytime soon. Good job with repairs here... Also great distance to grocery stores, restaurants, entertainment, etc.. It's a fairly convenient location for living rather you're a family like us, or single."

"I'm not sure where these "new management is great" comments are coming from but from my experience starting before even moving in, they were exceptionally difficult to deal with and continue to be so. Office hours are not honored, signage isn't posted when she isn't in, and pool work didn't start until right around Memorial day weekend (when every other complex/public pool is finishing work and opening). She's impossible to get a hold of and difficult to talk to because she never remembers what you've already talked to her about. My first rent check wasn't cashed until literally (and I do mean literally) a month later​ so that I then had 2 months of rent coming out of my account at once. All of that isn't even half of what we've dealt with as far as the management goes but we cannot find any other phone number to contact the higher ups. All phone numbers that are listed go right to the on-site manager who seems to never be actually on-site, is majorly disorganized, and unprofessional. What property manager do you know of comes to work in sweatpants giving you excuse after excuse about how she's just too busy with too many things all the time to keep track of what units are available when or what maintenance needs to be done? Update: The longer we live here, the more I'd advise against moving in. It is absolutely not worth dealing with this management. We've had nothing but problems coming up. Management loses maintenance reports or takes forever to get to one. The pool is also constantly locked without any communication as to why it is locked posted anywhere. Still no way to contact any superiors either. Save yourself the headache and stay away from here. You'll find yourself angry, frustrated, and dumbfounded as to how someone like this manager was given this position."
