"This place is horrible I got kicked out for bringing a blow up doll"

"The teachers are nice but I had a frustrating experience with the office. I was refunded a class because the teacher canceled last minute day of. I showed up to the same class next class to use the refund credit and without saying anything in person, they silently charged my card later that night. I emailed multiple times asking for a refund because I had a credit from the week before and she refused, saying the refund credit actually expired the day it was issued. I've never heard of such a policy! She said it was my fault I didn't use it before expiration even though how could I? There were no other classes to take that day! After multiple requests, she still wouldn't refund me but gave me a credit-- but it HAD to be used with a less than 24 hr window. Well, like most people, I have a job and a life so I couldn't move all my schedule around with such a short notice to make it to class, and I still couldn't get a refund. Because they didn't want to refund $15, they lost a customer that would have brought way more business. It's not only bad karma to be such a stickler and unfair but short sighted bad business move; if she was smart she would put more effort into customer retention and grow the business, not lose customers and reputation over their own last minute cancellation troubles, which in itself, is an inconvenience to customers since I schedule my week in advance to try to make it to these classes once a week with a busy work schedule. And to silently charge cards without any notice is very unprofessional as well. As a business owner myself, refunding $15 to gain the loyalty and long term retention of an ongoing customer would have been a way better move in the bigger picture. Each customer compounds by word of mouth and I enjoyed the class but will recommend AGAINST this studio to my contacts moving forward."
