"Sorry for the partially eaten pictures, lol!!! We could not wait!!! I've eaten here several times!!! I can't get enough. My friend & I came to have lunch for her birthday, March 6, 2024. The meatloaf, fried okra, mac & cheese, cornbread muffins & red Kool Aid, yummmmmm!!!! My friend ordered the fried pork chop, fried okra, cornbread muffins & green beans. We both enjoyed every bit. Dontae R., thank you for your friendly, attentive service! We left satisfied. Of course, we will be back again! Just a side note, the oxtails are the BEST!!!"
"The atmosphere, vibe, & food here was top tier. This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend, and when I walked in, I was floored. The live band and the energy was astounding. The food matched the vibe. The endless mimosas were delishes. I went in for brunch on a Sunday and they did not disappoint. My waiter was sweet and kept the drinks flowing. When my glass was 2/3 empty, I had another one arriving at the table. Hands down one of my new favorite go to spots."
"The place was very clean and well decorated. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I had the fried chicken , it was good not great and my friend had the pork chop….it was delicious. Would definitely go back."
"We came for soul food and that is what we got! I tried the fried chicken plate with Mac n cheese, mash potatoes and gravy, and collard greens. My husband ordered the jambalaya. The collard greens were something else! So good! For dessert we had the peach cobbler and sweet potato pie- I would have ordered a other slice if I wasn't so full! The serve was excellent! We definitely needed a nap afterwards!"
"The macaroni and cheese was delicious. Cheese sauce was thick and creamy. Fried shrimp was good. The catfish seemed undercooked to me. The texture wasn't very flaky, more tough to cut through. Would definitely try this place again!"
