"If I could give negative i would. Do not rent any property managed by Ashley Chockley. I rented in 2020 in height of the pandemic I was 2 months behind on rent and tried to give her the 1 months rent i had rental assistance for She outright refused and said if i couldnt give the other months rent at the same time she wouldnt accept the rent assistance. Then changed my locks on me WITHOUT an eviction notice or even the starting of an eviction notice. There was no calls to me no notes left on my apartment no attempt to contact me before my locks were changed. Then when i found out and talked to maintenance they could get ahold of her yet i couldnt and police could only do something if i talked to management. yet surprise surprise she wasnt available never responded to any texts vociemails calls. I didnt get a single thing that was in that apartment. Mind you this is middle pandemic i wasnt multiple months behind and if she had accepted the rental assitance id have only been a month behind. She stole my stuff plain and simple If id have even gotten one email,text, or call/voicemail to leave in so-so days I would have but nope just changed my locks on me . So beware you ever have a hardship or hell if she just doesn't like you this can happen to you and looking at other fb comments Im not the only one shes locked out of apartments(but dont worry im sure she'll say she tried to contact them and guess what its a bold faced lie)"

"My neighbors have told me that they have massive amounts of black mold growing in the bathroom. Our ceiling crumbles apart and sticks to the floor and our rugs. The doors and windows are very drafty and the electric bill will be through the roof. After the dericho storm, our windows were broken and it is December, and have not been fixed. Due to “the insurance”. Lots of drugs, in and out of this place. The children steal everything. Garbage everywhere. The walls are paper thin.. must I go on?"

"Nothing fixed promptly or correctly. Litter constantly in the halls of appartments and grounds outside including parking lot. My bikes chained up at bike rack were tore up and destroyed."

"We lived here for 3 years. Multiple issues. They raised our rent 3 times in the first year and told us that the reason for raising it was because they were going to replace the window with new ones and the sliding door...the whole 3 years of living there, still with no windows or a sliding door. There were people in the complex smoking marijuana, and cigerettes non stop. The complex was always dirty. The children that lived in the complex would leave toys laying around in the yard and in the building. I found dog feces in the dyers at one point...to where I stopped doing laundry there and went to the laundry mat. Ashley the landlord was never in her office as to what it says online, my husband and I always had to chase her down to pay rent. I also had a baby in October of 2016 and after putting in my 30 days our a/c went out...I texted the landlord at 9:30am ..Ashley...that it went out she told me ok sometime will be there this afternoon...no one showed up til 6:30 that night...moral of the story is that they left us with no air for more then 8 days with an infant. The prolonged and prolonged it as long as they could. They didn’t give us a fan to put in window or a window air conditioner for the time being nothing. I texted and texted her over and over again and no response. She also was charging outragious amount of money for the same exact apartment...for example I lived In a two bedroom apartment and another was living in the exact same layout...I was paying 615 and the other girl was paying 730. Let me remind you same exact layout same upgrades..everything was the same beside the price. The reason for staying in this apartment for so long with so many issues was because my husband and I were college students and didn’t have the money to find or move any of our stuff so we were stuck. After having the baby and dealing with there bs we descided to packed up and leave...giving her our 30 days of course. I don’t recommend this place to anyone especially with a family. Since I have moved out there has been at least 5 others in my complex that has moved out as well."

"It was okish but it was always dirty with terrible maintenance. It was not up to date as most things were either breaking or didn't work. The bottom floor was also flooded once because of their lack of keeping up with the place. The laundry room is also often flooded because of how old the washer and dryers were. The chain lock was so long that from the outside you could easily get it undone. Most of the windows wouldn't lock so you would have to get creative without breaking the old things. Many things I've had their had got stolen, one including the bike I had just got days before. Bugs were also always getting in and we found no way of actually stopping them. Once a frog got into our complex but that was actually quite funny. There was always this older creepy dude that sat out in his car trying to get my mothers attention, to the point where she would park on the other side and do everything she could to avoid the guy. I also remember when we only had about 2-3 months before the lease was up there were often raccons in the garbage bins, and the workers their didnt want to get them out so we had to either try and get them out ourselves or be really careful putting our garbage in to make sure we didnt squash the poor things. Also, children always left their toys outside so at night you have to be careful not to trip or step on one. I'd say one of the only good things about living there is that they had a pop machine. I felt unsafe living here, and wouldn't recommend it to anyone."
