"The room I stayed had bedbugs staff was not concerned at all worst place I’ve ever stay good thing Walmart was open so I could get something to spray everything I wouldn’t stay here again if they gave me a room for free I didn’t get any compensation for my expenses or the room DO NOT STAY HERE unless you wanna battle bugs"

"Came in late. I’m 2.5 hours away and they weren’t going to let me get a room. Because I lived close?(odd) Site said it would have been less than 50 dollars a night but got it for 75 plus. Rooms were small and a little odd but we dealt with it: Why do we get punished booking straight through them.. doesn’t seem right. And what does it matter that I live within a 100 plus miles radius."

"To anyone looking to read a review on this hotel please look no further. I am a single male that has traveled for work all over the Midwest for the last 10 years. Never in my experience have I ran into a more poorly managed hotel than this hotel. From changing our bookings without notification/change price/nights stayed. To waking up with ants all over your personal luggage and nightstand. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. Plenty of hotels in the Clinton area better than this place. They cater to the railroad guys in town if you aren't one of them then expect issues. Good luck."

"Hotels in Clinton are generally overpriced because they lack alternatives. Travelers lodge has regulars -truckers -and some interesting quirks catering to those truckers. I loved the people they had working there -and the place was as advertised for the rooms and amenities. Excellent hot coffee at all times at the front desk is the way to do it. Though a coffee machine in the room would be cool -but I had brought my own and prices are probably exorbitant but I used a booking app saving $30 a night. All good"

"Desk people were pleasant. Room was ok for the age. Clean but not deep clean. Problem with the shower water temp control. Either all hot or all cold. I was able to get it tolerable but would not been ok for my wife. I was alone. No cups for water. I mentioned the water problem at checkout, I was not the first to have this issue. I guess you can't get anything these days that is right without paying through the nose. I would stay again, at the same price, but would go 4-5 star if wife was along."
