"beware that this company will withhold your security deposit regardless of the circumstances. i applied oct 6th was never officially approved till i gave them $885(deposit). i was told to hold/be approved i must pay that upfront. needless to say, approval was oct. 24 - i tried to cancel the move in next day due to changes in my personal life & also because i feel disrespected/ discriminated against by the property manager at kimberly club during the application process. sadly wish i never looked into moving here, but i guess that’s overall on me. hope this helps someone else not get screwed over by this place. ps the move in date was suppose to be december 7. i NEVER signed or even physically saw a lease either. they gave me my additional deposit of $385 back but REFUSE to give me back the rest. ($500 security deposit)"

"Fantastic office staff, responsive maintenance staff. Nice apartments, new play area, pool, and volleyball area. I enjoyed living there and felt safe."

"Not sure what else I can do to fix this problem then to try to get actions from Barker Apartments by exposing them publicly. For the last four months the washer unit on my floor has been out of service. Barker apartments falsely advertised laundry services on the floor of residence. Since the laundry machines on surrounding floors have been working overtime to compensate for the broken machine, they now have begun to break as well. There is a sweet older women who lives on the first floor who now has to climb three flights of stairs to do her laundry. As she prepares for surgery next week she worries about how she will care for herself since she will not be physically able to climb the stairs to do her laundry. Please think twice about living here if laundry convenience is something that is attracting you to these buildings."

"My wife and I rented a pretty spacious 1 bedroom apartment a few years ago at Windsor Crest. Was very affordable and we had great neighbors. The staff was always super professional and a joy to work with. My only complaint about our experience is that multiple times there was no notice of when they would shut water off to our building to do repairs. Often times I’d be soaped up in the shower and out of nowhere the water was turned off."
