"Nice hotel. Sleep is a challenge. You hear the train whistle blowing at 1 am, 1:40 am and 2:30 am. No air conditioning in winter. Even when your room is 85 degrees. I won't be staying there again."
"This is a nice upscale hotel right near the river. It was quite expensive but that is probably because of the location. They charge $10 a night for parking, and the lot spaces are tight together and from the signs that appears as if the lot is not patrolled. For an expensive upscale hotel, I have high standards, and this hotel met many of them, but not all of them. We could not get the television to work, and that is even after two of their employees tried to get it working, but could not. After an hour, I gave up on their getting the tv to work because I needed to get some sleep because I needed to get to work the next day. When I got in the shower, I noticed that the body wash tube was empty, this is one of the hotels that hangs them from the wall. I would think housekeeping would check that when they check the rooms, but obviously they did not. It was not a huge problem because I just used shampoo instead. There is no free breakfast provided, just free coffee. A very nice perk is the cookies that they provide to their guest. Overall, this stay was nice, but if you’re not there to be downtown, which I wasn’t, I would choose a less expensive hotel with a free breakfast and free parking."
"Yes the room and hotel were a bit warm, but everything else was fantastic. Huge lobby, great rooms, very clean. Fast elevators, easy free parking across the street, good restaurant and Fantastic bar. Ms Nesha was an amazing bartender and her boss (didn’t get name) made fantastic specialty drinks. The best was how nice they were about us having a hockey team of boys there. Probably the most accommodating and understanding hotel we have stayed at (we travel a lot). Will remember this hotel 100%"
"The room only had heat. It was about 90 in the room. I was told to open my window which lead to the room and it had foot prints coming up to my window. Also the window had no screen. The room smelled of heavy cleaning products. I had a plate of two day old fruit and chocolate in my first room. I opted to not pay 15 dollars for the breakfast I had to serve myself and went to Wendy’s instead. I will probably never stay at this location again. I very much enjoy the Hilton brand. But this hotel just misses the mark."
"Viewers Beware. I had the worst hotel experience ever. I should have read other people's reviews prior to booking. I stayed this week for work but canceled my reservation for next week due to the intense heat inside the room. According to front desk, air conditioning doesn't work in the winter. The problem is that if your room has access to the atrium and you are at a high level, all the heat from below will accumulate and you will not get any cool air from outside. I did not sleep more than 3 hours due to the discomfort. On top of that, the fire alarm went off every single day anywhere between 5 to 10 times. It is a very loud and annoying alarm. Different people at the front desk were giving different points of view. For example , one individual said that there is air conditioning so they sent one engineer who said he fixed it but it takes time. Then a hour later I call again and they send a second person to fix the AC with the same results. Then at 3am I call front desk telling them I can't handle the heat and she tells me to just turn thr air off, the rooms get cool. Temps we're close to 80 degrees all night long with no access to outside window. The only thing staying here has done for me is give me some good heart pounding palpitations in the middle of the night. Try to stay away from this place."
