"Location was good. The staff were pretty great. But there was a door malfunction or two that let homeless in a couple times. The hot tub didn't work and the pool was down periodically. The restaurant food was subpar but good specials. The staff saved this place for me."

"Great place but the breakfast is always the same. The restaurant is kinda expensive and so is the all around stay. Didn't have the pool side view room available that I booked because it was still dirty even tho i wasnt there until night. And didn't even accommodate. Gave me a single bed instead of the double."

"Stayed overnight with family to swim. It was a very pleasant experience… there is a fantastic bar and restaurant on site. Wonderful staff! Looks like updates throughout the hotel are being made… which it probably needs. Would recommend staying!"

"Great hotel right off I-80 with an awesome restaurant and bar. I stayed here while passing through Iowa and had a fantastic experience. They have accessible pet friendly rooms available and there's a good gas station on the road to the hotel. The staff were great to chat with and the 1 Hundred West restaurant was the perfect place to have a burger and a beer after a long day on the road. Overall, a very clean and affordable hotel that made for a great experience. I'll definitely stay here again!"

"First of all I’d like to say I have reached out to management privately, but received no response. If I could rate a 0 I would. My family and I attended the Thanksgiving buffet here this year. When we arrived it looked nothing like the advertisement and we should have walked out immediately, but unfortunately we did not. This was by far the worst dining experience we have ever had. From the time we were escorted down a dark hallway, past the pool area and seated at table 3, it was bad. From the smell of chlorine in the air to the dingy and dirty banquet room, just bad. The linens on the table were dirty from the party before us and we had to ask for clean linens, the staff was so incompetent they didn’t recognize the need. We had to ask for utensils twice and when provided the forks, knives and napkins were just thrown on a plate for us to pass and grab and some of the utensils had dried food on them. The buffet line was filthy, with no staff attending to empty items or noticing that there were no serving utensils. I witnessed one guest actually reaching in with his hands to pick up a piece of pork. Another guest was wrist deep in the gravy bowl trying to scrape out every last drop. It was disgusting. The food was tasteless and soggy. The desserts were terrible. At least 3 people in our party were so disgusted they couldn’t even eat their food, the rest of us shouldn’t have. What a huge disappointment. At $28 a plate I expected better. We wasted over $350 “dining” with here. Never again. Thanksgiving day is a day to enjoy a good meal with family and friends. This year we did not. I would not recommend this place for dining or for a stay. Don’t waste your money."
