"The room was not clean. Our linen was not changed. On top of that, we were accused of paying with a counterfit $10.00 bill. My fiance had no $10.00 bills. Upon our checking out, they gave us our key refund money back to us and passed the counterfit $10.00 bill to us. My fiancee only found out as he was trying to purchase some nice sunglasses, in a store nearby, and the salesman had told him the $10.00 bill was counterfit. I had not told him about the accusation as, I had went to The Darlington Hotel earlier, to wait for him to get off from work. The next morning after he had went into the store to buy the sunglasses, that he liked, but couldn't purchase them, is when I told him what I had been told by the hotel clerk, before he had made it to the Darlington Hotel after he had got off from work. There were biting bugs there, also. Cannot recommend, unless, you are in an untenable situation, with nowhere else to turn to and yes, we went back to Darlington Hotel and confronted the clerk, she called the manager and he decided to take back the counterfit $10.00 bill and he gave us a good $10.00 bill and then we left with no plans and to ever return to the Darlington Hotel!!!!©"
