"Living at One Chicago has been an amazing experience! The staff are all welcoming, personable, polite, and quick to help with anything you may need. The building itself is a work of art both internally and externally, and the amenities are top tier. For starters, you have a wonderful outdoor area with 6 grills, a heated dog walk, and amazing views of downtown. The amenity spaces inside are also amazing with multiple huge TVs (over 85 inches most likely) a indoor fireplace, large demo kitchen, a conference room, shuffleboard, and you can pair your phone/laptop to the ceiling speakers to have a blast with your guests or fellow neighbors. There is a virtual golf simulator as well if you want to practice your long and short game. And the best amenity of all is the complimentary access to Lifetime Fitness. This gym is huge over 120,000 square feet! Every exercise equipment you could possibly need, plenty of cardio options, your membership includes group classes, hydro massages, access to a hot tub, cold tub, Eucalyptus steam shower, sauna, indoor Olympic sized lap pool, outdoor leisure pools and hot tubs, a full regulation sized basketball court, and a bunch of other fitness related features that I can't remember of the top of my head. The rooms themselves are a bit small, but the accessible amenity areas make up for that. I have a 1 bedroom and toured a number of rooms and am impressed with what amazing views both South and North facing units have. The appliances are all new and top of the line. Even the washer and dryer have wifi connection to remote start your laundry from the phone. The rooms are painted a very sleek and modern grey color and the bathrooms are just gorgeous with the finest marble I have seen in the Western Hemisphere. It may actually be imported for all I know. The quality is amazing. And the floor to ceiling windows and tall ceiling height make the rooms feel so much bigger. Space is used very efficiently so you can definitely have all your belongings. Lastly, the location is excellent if you are a culinary connoisseur, nightlife aficionados, and/or a shopaholic. You have the very best of Chicago in walking distance. You are a 12 minute walk to the night clubs, a few minutes walk to world renound restaurants, and 8 minutes from the Mag Mile. Gold Coast is just to the north if you have finer shopping taste or fine dining on your mind. River North to the South and West and Streeterville on your East. Great safe location with plenty of landmarks nearby like the Water Tower, John Hancock, and even Holy Name Cathedral across the street. The area is growing too there will be a Whole Foods in the building in March and there will be a Phillz coffee as well! (The San Franciscan in me rejoices that I can still have my favorite coffee in the Windy City). While the price may seem high for the size of the room, for everything you get included it is quite the value and the epitome of luxury living!"
