"Excellent stay. Quiet, very clean hotel with amicable and professional staff. I recently stayed three nights on the 18th floor and loved my stay. The room was large, comfortable, well equipped and modern. I also really appreciated the early check-in, getting to Chicago was rather tiring and difficult. I was exhausted when I arrived to the hotel. I also had the access to the lounge where breakfast is excellent with plenty of choice. I really liked the attendant that worked in the lounge. Regretfully, I forget her name. Last year, I didn’t like the front desk worker at check-out, she was very rude for absolutely no reason but it seems it was an isolated incident. I have over looked it, gave it another chance and I’m happy that I have. I will be back upon my return to Chicago."

"Disappointing experience. They really give you the minimum. Even low end hotels offer robes. We had to call get the robes. When we got them, there were no strings to wrap them around. Usually hotels also provide glasses but we had to call guest services again for that… there was a 10 min wait to get a hold of anyone. Waking up in the morning to take a shower and both the SHAMPOO AND BODY WASH WERE EMPTY. Never had that happen.. The worst part was that the room had an awful barn door that didn’t close all the way. The only good part was the view which we paid extra for anyway… Overall did not have a good experience. :("

"This place was awesome! We had a great view from our room. Everything was super clean. Staff was nice, and we even got to hold our luggage at front desk after checkout time. Would stay again! I thought price was quite reasonable for what you get."

"A very pleasant stay in a beautiful, unique and historic hotel. I've looked at The Blackstone a few times for previous trips as it always caught my eye. I finally decided to stay here and it's my new favorite hotel in the downtown loop area. Firstly, it's beautiful. The pictures online don't do it justice. With wood walls, unique decor and great ambient lighting I was delighted. The staff were very helpful. The rooms were more updated than I expected with interesting decor and items themed with Blackstone. Comfortable and clean. The breakfast and dining area was cozy and the food was good. We found it easy to walk to places and there are bus stops in front. A unique hotel with great vibes that has earned a spot on my go to list in the area."

"Absolutely gorgeous hotel! We were in town for one Friday night, and I think staying at The Blackstone helped us make the most of it. The whole building is full of history, and there was plenty to find within walking distance. The highlight of the trip for me actually came after we had already checked out and realized we forgot an item in our room. While a staff member was leading us back up to our room we mentioned how much we appreciated the architecture was, it turns out this staff member was very familiar with the hotel's history. On our way back out of the hotel, he took us on a short detour to the Art Hall - something we had totally overlooked. We got a chance to see some of the rotating local art the hotel displays, and the staff member shared details about the architecture in the room and where modifications were made over the years. It was one of the coolest experiences I've ever had in a hotel. Can't think of anywhere I'd rather stay in Chicago, thank you for the wonderful time!"
