"We restored a 1955 Aristocraft Torpedo runabout (wooden boat) this Spring/early Summer. We wanted to replace the old upholstery, but keep the feel of what it looked like in the 1950s. The boat originally only had upholstered backs and a wooden bench seat. However, we wanted a padded seat that could be removed depending on if we were fishing or not. David helped us plan a design that works both with and without the padded bench seat. It is also patterned after the original upholstery. David did an amazing job and we couldn't be more pleased.
