"I sad to leave this kind of review, but I’m frustrated with Home Depot right now, my appliances keep going out in a short period of time. 2 LG stoves, the last one a gas leak and now a fridge and now a whirlpool dryer I’m still making payments on. I like the store, the people are friendly enough, and I’m so appreciative of that, but I can’t afford to keep purchasing appliances. they are costly and of course you only get like a year warranty on things.. when my stove went out in 2 yrs and I couldn’t cook and city had come out because of gas leak and I had to pay another company to look at it.. I finally took all their expertise advice and purchased a stove at Leonardis. I also found out that people Home Depot used to install my stove, it was done properly, the connection was loose and they used painters tape,I always tip and offer refreshments. I like Home Depot overall but it scares me to buy another major appliances from them. Thank you"

"Great customer service from Mary (Orchard store in Aurora) , she made sure the paint was the exact color like the sample I provided, she was polite, kind and knowledgeable, she told me how proud she is of working at Home Depot for 18 years!!! You are so lucky to have her as part of your team."

"I generally prefer Menards but this Home Depot is outstanding. Like any home Depot you have to be selective with what you buy as far as country of origin of the product and quality. However, I choose this store more often because the people are what set it apart. Everyone is kind and helpful, going out of their way to help you locate something or give you advice."

"The customer service in this specific store was ridiculous. Associate will not ask you if you need help with anything, and if you do ask, it’s like you’re bothering them. The associates are not attentive at self check out and do not check the measurements of items, and when I approached the head cashier about this issue, she brushed me right off and told me to have a good day and walked away"

"Terrible customer service from Ricky. My husband and I inquired about having some lumber cut and Ricky told us that there was absolutely no one in the store that could help us and then just stared and shrugged. We asked if he could please check to see if there was anybody in the entire store that could perhaps assist us with getting lumber so we didn't have to come back and he said he would do so and then proceeded to walk off and then just walk laps around the store with one of his colleagues. He never came back or attempted to assist us in any way shape or form. We were able to get assistance when we went to the pro desk and another staff member was very gracious and helped us. However, Ricky and his complete lack customer service really left a terrible impression."
