"I go in with a good energy and respectful tone about how I want to further my education, and instead of getting simple answers about Fafsa/speak to an advisor/direct me to the information needed... Listen if you dont like your job or you are not getting paid enough, thats a you problem, but dont be discouraging people trying to find information that they need. I dont recommend to go on this campus if you seek to further your education. HCC you need to check on your workers, dont let them ruin the HCC reputation."
"I have had trouble receiving the help I need from advising. I waited on hold for over 40 minutes today waiting for financial aid and finally hung up. The service is inconsistent, sometimes great and sometimes poor or nonexistent."
"This is a early voting center. Its kept very clean, they provide a finger glove and alcohol wipe to clean the voting machine. All the volunteers wear face masks. This site also has short lines and curb side voting."
"Voting was amazing! Short lines, happy people, the finger condom, tried to take me out. Latex allergy is serious. There was sanitizer everywhere. Great job."
"Rude in the most disgusting way. The head of this department, Ms. Virginia has a nasty, dismissive attitude she talks to you like you're unworthy and you're complete garbage and this is over the phone without ever having met you to even be able to judge you as someone she should be talking to like trash. Prospective students calling trying to make a plan to better their lives should proceed with caution because the person in charge of this location seems to lack respect and decency towards strangers. If you're immune to being spoken to in an abusive manner that makes you feel less than, then you may do well dealing with this rude women, but if your family raised you to give respect and seek respect you will be highly offended after dealing with this staff. It's disgusting and disappointing that an educator doesn't have the good sense to know not to talk to students like they're worthless idiots. My God, one discussion turned into such a disheartening and disturbing experience. Run, find another school or prepare to be offended and angry at how you are treated"
