"If you're looking for a clean, bare necessities hostel, then this spot will work for you. The room (see photos) had a bed, table and that's about it. We paid extra to have a 1/2 bath in our room. The shared bathrooms were overall clean and I never had an issue getting a shower. The breakfast consisted of coffee, white bread, English muffins, cereal and hard boiled eggs if you were lucky. It was always rather busy and we had a lot of international tourists staying here. One of the main selling points for us was the location. It's a manageable walk to multiple subway lines, there is a whole host of food options just a few blocks away, the neighborhood is gorgeous and you're a short walk from the lake and waterfront parks."

"We spent four days here in a 3-person room with a private bathroom. The rooms were simple yet tidy and pleasant. Common areas and facilities were well-maintained. The location felt safe and was ideal for us, just a 10-minute walk to the nearby metro station, providing easy access to downtown and other parts of the city. Overall, we enjoyed our stay!"

"The 4 bedroom was basic but comfortable enough. The bunk beds should include curtains for better privacy, which is a feature in many other accommodations within the same price range. Shared toilet facilities in each floor which were a bit old and not very well cleaned. The breakfast options were alright, including boiled eggs, bread/toast, pastries, cereals, coffee and derived beverages, etc. It would be nice to have hot options like scrambled eggs and sausages. Staff helpful and friendly at all times. Location wise, it was a simple and pleasant elevated train journey from a local train station, 10 minutes away from the hostel, directly into the core the city and the Loop. Contactless options like Apple Pay available on site."

"Love this hostel! It’s my second time staying and I love it here! Perfect location, you are close to nice places, the area is very safe and clean. The hostel is very clean and the staff is so friendly! The only thing that I wish they would improve is the breakfast it needs more options."
