"We so enjoyed our multi-night stay while exploring Andersonville neighborhood. We visited off-peak-season, so our stay was super affordable. Our apartment was spacious and relaxing. Very clean and comfortable. So many thoughtful touches ... small ceramic dishes on the bedside tables for your keys ... reusable containers for leftovers in the kitchen ... recycling bin next to trash container ... list of nearby groceries ... list of toiletry and other items (including chargers) available at front desk. The windows have blinds, but not curtains. These all closed tightly in terms of privacy. But if you're used to a really dark room, you may want to bring an eye mask or similar. Bathroom had towel racks, as well as plenty of towels and linens. Apartment also had several closets for storing coats, clothes, and luggage. Heating and cooling is controlled by a Nest device, so you may adjust daytime and nighttime temps for your comfort during your stay. Very quiet. We didn't hear other guests or street noise. Easy access to bus and Metra if you want to use Chicago's public transit. Welcoming and friendly attitudes from everyone on staff. Concierge approach, so they're ready to make suggestions if you want advice about places to eat or things to do."

"We stayed here over the weekend while moving our son and daughter in law from Missouri into their apartment in Chicago near the guesthouse hotel. This is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed! I would have moved in if I could have! We got upgraded to a 2 bedroom/2 bath suite. SO BEAUTIFUL! Every detail was perfect, the decor, the well stocked kitchen and plenty of linens and towels. The lobby area was beautiful as well! Very cozy, stylish and clean. The location was great for us. The street was not busy, was very well-lit and there were many places within walking distance to get something to eat/drink/necessities. We felt completely safe. A special shout out to Connor at the front desk. He was so friendly and always very helpful whenever we had any questions. We will definitely stay here anytime we come to visit!"

"We stayed here after an AirBnB mishap and it ended up being a blessing in disguise as The Guest House was amazing! We had two dogs and it very dog friendly with bowls and doggie beds. Everything was clean, well appointed, and the area felt safe. The Guest House is in the Andersonville neighborhood which is full of many cute bars and restaurants. Shout out specifically to Zoe who helped me book the suite last minute and had answers to every question we asked. She was amazing! When we come back to Chicago, this will be our new first choice for accommodations. Thank you!"

"What a lovely experience and beautiful hotel! The staff were amazing and also always available for our questions and to give recommendations. The details were so thoughtful around the lounge and lobby and we enjoyed having a spacious two bedroom suite. It was tucked in a charming neighborhood and we enjoyed walking down the street to the local coffee shop and cute plant store. Would love to stay here again!"
