Aramco Research Center

Aramco Research Center is a leading institution located at 16300 Park Row Drive, Houston, Texas, United States, with additional locations in various countries including Saudi Arabia, China, India, Singapore, Italy, the Netherlands, and South Korea. One of the notable projects undertaken by the Aramco Research Center is the Fadhili Gas Plant (FGP), which has significantly boosted gas supply and reduced CO2 emissions. The plant has a total processing capacity of 2.5 BSCFD and is the first in the region to sweeten low BTU gas and directly power an independent power plant. FGP also treats nonassociated gas from both onshore and offshore fields.

The center is also involved in expanding the gas processing capacity of the Hawiyah gas plant, as well as sustaining gas production from the Haradh and Hawiyah fields for the next 20 years. Additionally, the center played a key role in the development of the Karan offshore gas field and the Shaybah natural gas liquids recovery plant.
